Defining the Middle-line of a Road in Block III, Otanake Survey District—viz., a Deviation of the Te Kuiti - New Plymouth State Highway.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a road desired to be constructed over Block III, Otanake Survey District—viz., a deviation of the Te Kuiti - New Plymouth State Highway, shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

COMMENCING at a point on the existing Te Kuiti - New Plymouth State Highway approximately 9 chains north-east of the southernmost corner of part Lot 1, D.P. 12776, and proceeding thence in a south-westerly and then southerly direction generally for a distance of approximately one mile, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands—viz., part Lot 1, D.P. 12776, being part Pukenui 2D 6 Block ; Pukenui part 2D 6, 2D 7B 6C 2L 1A, 2D 7A, 2D 7B 6C 2L 1B 1, 2D 7B 6C 2L 1B 2, 2N 2B 1, and 2D 7B 6C 2L 2 Blocks, Block III, Otanake Survey District, and terminating at a point on a public road through the said Pukenui 2D 7B 6C 2L 2 Block, including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses : all in the Auckland Land District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 97745, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as street: 1 rood 9·4 perches. Being Lot 8, D.P. 2531, and being part Section 27, Waimea East.

Situated in Block VII, Waimea Survey District (Borough of Richmond). (S.O. 831r.)

In the Nelson Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 97743, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the development of water-power (Palmerston South substation-site); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-fourth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 3 acres 1 rood. Being portion of Section 2 of 2.

Situated in Block IV, Moeraki Survey District (Otago R.D.). (S.O. 6009.)

In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 97604, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 13th day of January, 1938.
