Additional Land between Port Chalmers Upper and St. Leonard’s
taken for the Purposes of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway to take further land between Port Chalmers Upper and St. Leonard’s in addition to land previously acquired for the purpose of the said railway :

Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

Situated in Sawyer’s Bay Survey District.

In the Otago Land District ; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 1st day of March, 1938.

Land proclaimed as Road in Block II, Kaipara Survey District, Rodney County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land in Kaipara Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as road :
1 acre 0 roods 27·1 perches.
Being portion of Araparera No. 7B Block.

Situated in Block II, Kaipara Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 28881.)

In the North Auckland Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 97731, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of March, 1938.
