Decisions of the Bureau of Industry under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

I HEREBY give notice that pursuant to the authority conferred on the Bureau of Industry under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936, the following decisions in respect to applications for licenses have been made.

Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.
Taking of Fish.
I HEREBY give notice that applications have been received from—
(1) C. J. Crapper, for a license to take fish at Nelson by means of a 28 ft. 5 h.p. motor-launch, using long and hand lines and supplying the Nelson market.
(2) J. C. Charles, for a license to take fish at Golden Bay by means of a 23 ft. 3½ h.p. motor-launch, using set-nets, and long and hand lines, and supplying the local market.
(3) W. E. Thomson, for a license to take fish at Shag Point, Dunedin, by means of a 23 ft. 24 h.p. launch, using hand-lines, and supplying the local market.
(4) A. E. Hennig, for a license to take fish at Otakau, Otago Peninsula, by means of a 21 ft. 13 h.p. launch, using long and hand lines, and supplying the local market.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau in respect of these applications, and who wishes to make representations accordingly must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 17th March, 1938.

Retail Sale of Motor-spirit.
I HEREBY give notice that applications have been received from—
(1) F. M. Burns, for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at his store at Naumai.
(2) E. P. Gardiner, Ltd., for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at the company’s store at Shannon.
(3) Orakei Properties, Ltd., for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at a proposed new service station in Coates Avenue, Orakei, Auckland.
(4) J. A. Edwards, on behalf of a proposed company to be known as the Sunshine Service Station, Ltd., for a license to erect a service station of five petrol pumps at the corner of Raukura and Featherston Streets, Palmerston North, for the retail sale of motor-spirit.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau in respect of these applications, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 17th March, 1938. All representations must set out clearly the grounds for same and include a statement showing the gallonage throughput of petrol sold and the nature of the business conducted by the person making the representations.
