follows: Commencing at a point in Block XIV, Ohinemuri Survey District, being the northernmost corner of Karangahake Watershed Reserve; thence in an easterly direction generally along the south-western and southern boundaries of provisional State forest, 742 acres, as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1920, page 924, to and along the southern side of a public road forming the northern boundary of Section 53 to the north-western corner of Section 31, Block XIV, Ohinemuri Survey District; thence in a southerly direction generally along the western and southern boundaries of Section 31 aforesaid, the western boundaries of Sections 41 and 49, Block XIV, Ohinemuri Survey District, the northern boundary of Section 28, Block XIV, Ohinemuri Survey District, the western boundaries of Sections 49, 33, and 6, all of Block XIV aforesaid, to the south-western corner of the last-mentioned section; thence in a north-easterly direction generally along the southern boundary of Section 6 aforesaid, to and across Earls Road, and again along the southern boundary of Section 6 aforesaid, and its production across another public road to its eastern side; thence along the eastern side of the last-mentioned public road, to and along the southern boundaries of Section 7, Block XIV, Ohinemuri Survey District, to and across another public road, and along the southern and eastern boundaries of Section 7 aforesaid, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of Waitekauri Stream; thence in a south-westerly direction generally along the middle of this stream to its confluence with the Ohinemuri River, along a right line due south across the said river and the Waihi Gold Mining Company’s tramway to the northern boundary of Block II, Aroha Survey District; thence in a westerly direction generally along the northern boundary of Block II, Aroha Survey District, to the westernmost corner of Section 62, Block II aforesaid; thence in a southerly direction generally along the western boundary of Block II, Aroha Survey District, to the eastern boundary of Section 17, Block I, Aroha Survey District; thence in north-westerly, northerly, and north-easterly directions generally along the boundary of Paeroa Riding previously described to the northernmost corner of Karangahake Watershed Reserve, the point of commencement.

WAHI WEST RIDING.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, Ohinemuri County, situated in Blocks VI, X, XI, XIV, XV, Ohinemuri Survey District, and Blocks II, III, VI, VII, and X, Aroha Survey District, bounded as follows: Commencing at the south-eastern corner of Section 6, Block VI, Ohinemuri Survey District; thence in a southerly direction generally along the western boundary of State forest as described in Gazette, 1935, page 2736, the western boundary of Section 2, Block VII, Ohinemuri Survey District, the western boundary of State forest aforesaid, to and across a public road, and again along the western boundary of State forest aforesaid to the northern boundary of Section 10, Block XI, Ohinemuri Survey District; thence along the northern and western boundaries of Section 10, Block XI, Ohinemuri Survey District aforesaid, to and across a public road; thence along the western side of this road to the northernmost corner of Section 64, Block XV, Ohinemuri Survey District; thence along the western boundaries of Sections 64 and 65, both of Block XV aforesaid, the north-western and south-western boundaries of Section 65 aforesaid to a public road; thence by the abutment of that road to its centre; thence along the middle of that public road and its production in a south-easterly direction to the middle of the Ohinemuri River; thence along the middle of Ohinemuri River to a point in line with the western side of Pukekauri Road; thence along a right line to Pukekauri Road and along its western side to a point in line with the south-western side of Old Tauranga Road; thence across Pukekauri Road and along the south-western side of Old Tauranga Road to the northernmost corner of Lot 1 of Section 25, Block IV, Aroha Survey District; thence in a south-westerly direction along the north-western boundaries of Lot 1 aforesaid and Section 26 of Block IV aforesaid to the westernmost corner of the last-mentioned section; thence in a south-easterly direction generally along the south-western boundary of Section 26 aforesaid, the western and southern boundaries of Section 9, Block IV, Aroha Survey District, and the western boundary of Section 42 of Block IV aforesaid, to and across a public road; thence in a south-westerly direction along the southern side of the last-mentioned road to the westernmost corner of Section 41, Block IV, Aroha Survey District; thence along the south-western boundary of Section 41 aforesaid, to and along the north-western boundary of Section 3, Block VII, Aroha Survey District, to the westernmost corner of that section, being a point on the Ohinemuri County boundary; thence again in a south-westerly direction along the Ohinemuri County boundary to the middle of Mangakino Stream;

and thence in a general northerly direction along the eastern boundaries generally of Mangaiti, Paeroa, Townships, again Paeroa and Komata Ridings previously described to the south-eastern corner of Section 6, Block VI, Ohinemuri Survey District, the point of commencement.

WAHI RIDING.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, Ohinemuri County, situated in Block XVI, Tairua Survey District, Blocks III, IV, VII, VIII, XI, XII, XV, XVI, Ohinemuri Survey District; Blocks I, II, III, Waihi North Survey District, Block I, Katikati North Survey District, and Block XII, Katikati Survey District, and Blocks III, IV, VII, VIII, Aroha Survey District: Bounded, commencing at a point on the sea-coast in Block I, Katikati North Survey District, being the south-eastern corner of Waihi No. 5 Block (Te Ararimu); thence in a general south-westerly direction along the Ohinemuri County boundary as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1937, page 1199, to the north-western corner of Section 3, Block VII, Aroha Survey District; thence in a general northerly direction along the generally eastern boundaries of Waihi West and Komata Ridings previously described to the northern boundary of Ohinemuri County aforesaid, near Ngapuketura Trig. Station; thence in an easterly, north-easterly, and south-easterly direction generally along the Ohinemuri County boundary to the south-eastern corner of Waihi No. 5 Block, the point of commencement; excepting thereout the Borough of Waihi as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1936, page 3045.

In terms of section 100, subsection (1), of the Counties Act, 1920, I hereby certify that the descriptions attached to the special order of the Ohinemuri County Council dated 11th November, 1937, have been amended by me as to text only, and that the certified descriptions attached hereto correctly signify the intention of the aforesaid special order as illustrated in the map submitted therewith.

I, ALFRED ALEXANDER JENKINSON, Clerk of the Ohinemuri County Council, do hereby certify that the above special order was made at a special meeting of the said Council held for that purpose in the Council Chambers, Paeroa, on the 11th day of November, 1937, and confirmed, sealed, and signed at the ordinary meeting of the said Council held on the 16th day of December, 1937, and that the said special order was duly made in conformity with the Counties Act, 1920, and the amendments thereof.

Dated at Paeroa, this 3rd day of February, 1938.
