Appointments, etc., of Officers, Royal New Zealand Air Force.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve of the following secondment, appointments, postings, &c., of officers of the Royal New Zealand Air Force :—

REGULAR AIR FORCE.

Secondment.

Wing Commander J. L. Findlay, M.C., relinquishes command of the Royal New Zealand Air Force Station, Wigram Aerodrome, dated 19th January, 1938, and on proceeding to England on 29th January, 1938, for training with the Royal Air Force (on interchange) is seconded.

Appointments.

Squadron Leader E. G. Olson to be Officer Commanding (temp.), Royal New Zealand Air Force Station, Wigram Aerodrome, in addition to his present appointment. 19th January, 1938.

Gerald Sinclair Evatt is granted a commission in the Stores and Accounting Branch with the rank of Flying Officer (on probation), and is posted to Air Force Headquarters. 1st February, 1938.

Flying Officer (on probation) G. S. Evatt is posted to the Royal New Zealand Air Force Station, Wigram Aerodrome, and appointed Assistant Equipment and Accounting Officer. 8th February, 1938.

Flying Officer (on probation) J. R. C. Kilian is confirmed in his appointment. 27th January, 1938.

TERRITORIAL AIR FORCE.

John to Horekicke Grace to be Pilot Officer (on probation), and is posted to the Wellington Territorial Squadron. 1st January, 1938.

Captain Cecil Farndale Phillips, Royal Marines, to H.M.S. “Achilles,” additional, to date 18th December, 1937, and vice Moulton, and as Squadron Royal Marine Officer from date of joining.
