Land taken for the Purposes of a Post-office in the City of Auckland.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a post-office; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-eighth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 24·1 perches. Being portion of Lot 21, D.P. 21520, being part Section 31, Town of Auckland.
Situated in Block XVI, Waitemata Survey District (City of Auckland), (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 29401.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 98548, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of February, 1938.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for water-supply purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-eighth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 76 acres 0 roods 4 perches.
Being part Section 10 and parts Section 13, Horokiwi Road District.
Situated in Block VII, Belmont Survey District. (S.O. 20043.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 98377, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land in Hohoura East Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

Changing Name of the Harbour known as “Kioreroa,” County of Whangarei, to “Port Whangarei.”

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it is considered expedient that the name of the harbour known as “Kioreroa,” in the County of Whangarei, should be changed to “Port Whangarei”:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by the Designation of Districts Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the name of the harbour known as “Kioreroa,” in the County of Whangarei, shall be and the same is hereby altered to “Port Whangarei,” and do assign the last-mentioned name to such harbour accordingly; and also do hereby proclaim and declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight, not being earlier than six months after the first publication thereof in the Gazette.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of December, 1937.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a provisional State forest.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—ROTORUA FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, Whakatane County, containing by admeasurement 2,900 acres, more or less, and being Section 1, Block II, and Section 5, Block VI, Ahikereru Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 47/37, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Auckland plan 29304.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of February, 1938.
