A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land in Matapiro Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as road :—

0 0 35 Section 53 ; coloured red.
0 2 15 Mangatahi Stream Bed ; coloured purple.
Situated in Block XV, Matapiro Survey District (Hawke's Bay R.D.). (S.O. 1150, green.)
In the Hawke's Bay Land District ; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 97534, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of February, 1938.

Altering the Boundaries of the Otago Mining District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section eight of the Mining Act, 1926, it is, inter alia, enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time by Proclamation alter the boundaries of any mining district: And whereas it is desirable that the land specified in the Schedule hereto shall, subject to all existing registered mining privileges, be excluded from the Otago Mining District:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eight of the Mining Act, 1926, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby, as from the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, alter the boundaries of the Otago Mining District by excluding therefrom the land particularly described in the Schedule hereto subject to all existing registered mining privileges.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Otago Land District containing by admeasurement 6 acres 3 roods 2 perches, more or less, being Section 15, Block VIII, Glenkenich Survey District: Bounded towards the east by Section 16, 1264·6 links ; towards the south-east by a public road, 1069·4 links ; and towards the north-west by a public road, 1694·9 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is more particularly shown on the plan marked Mines N. 6/4/14, deposited in the Head Office, Mines Department, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of February, 1938.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—AUCKLAND FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
ALL those areas in the Auckland Land District containing by admeasurement 3,058 acres 1 rood, more or less, and described as follows :—
All that area in Thames County containing by admeasurement 221 acres 0 roods 39 perches, more or less, being Sections 6, 7, and 8, Block II, Ohinemuri Survey District, and being formerly known as Lot 1 of Section 3, Block II aforesaid.
Also all that area in Thames County containing by admeasurement 1,159 acres, more or less, and being Section 5, Block II, and Section 14, Block VI, Ohinemuri Survey District.
Also all that area in Ohinemuri County containing by admeasurement 748 acres, more or less, and being Section 6, Block VI, Ohinemuri Survey District.
Also all that area in Ohinemuri County containing by admeasurement 199 acres 3 roods 38 perches, more or less, and being Section 3, Block VII, Ohinemuri Survey District.
Also all that area in Ohinemuri County containing by admeasurement 490 acres, more or less, and being Section 33, Block XII, Ohinemuri Survey District.
Also all that area in Ohinemuri County containing by admeasurement 240 acres 0 roods 3 perches, more or less, and being Section 19, Block X, Ohinemuri Survey District.
As the same are more particularly delineated on plans Nos. 26/29 and 26/30, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. plans 29200, 29242, 18725s, 18742s, 21488L, 18848s.)
