In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 5059, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow and green.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
SUBSOIL TAKEN.
As to the areas mentioned in the First Schedule: All the subsoil down to a plane 100 ft. below and approximately parallel to the said line of formation levels, such plane being horizontal transversely to the said line of formation levels.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of February, 1938.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found necessary for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the New Zealand Government Railways to take land in the Tatau East No. 3 Block, Taupo County, for the purposes of a road-approach to the railway sawmill-site situated in the Tatau West Block, Block XIV, Te Ati-a-Muri Survey District.
Now, therefore, I George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 4 acres 3 roods 2 perches.
Part of Tatau East No. 3 Block, Block IX, Ngongotaha Survey District, Taupo County. (S.O. 29400, blue.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 5079, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of February, 1938.

Altering the Boundaries of the North Canterbury Electric-power District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by section three of the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in that behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby alter the boundaries of the North Canterbury Electric-power District so as to include the area described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Land District of Canterbury, being portion of the County of Amuri, bounded by a line commencing at a point in Block III, Lyndon Survey District, being the junction of the northern bank of the Hanmer River and the western bank of Boundary Stream; thence following in a northerly direction the western bank of the said Boundary Stream to its junction with the northern boundary of State Forest Reserve 4111; thence by the said northern boundary of Reserve 4111 to its junction with Jollies Pass Road; thence in a northerly direction along the eastern side of Jollies Pass Road to the junction of that road and the Clarence River; thence generally in a westerly direction by the south bank of the Clarence River to its confluence with the Styx River; thence south-westerly by the Styx River to its intersection with the northern boundary of Block XVI, Dillon Survey District; thence south-westerly in a straight line to Trig.-station D T on Mount Captain; thence again south-westerly in a straight line to the intersection of the Grantham River and the boundary between the Dillon and Tekoa Survey Districts; thence by the east bank of the Grantham River and the south bank of the Waiau River to Gabriels Gully Stream; thence by the said Gabriels Gully Stream southwards to the boundary between Blocks XI and XII, Tekoa Survey District; thence following the last-mentioned boundary in a southerly direction to its intersection with the Pahau River; thence by the western bank of the Pahau River to its junction with the boundary between the Hanmer and Pahau Ridings of the Amuri County; thence to and by the southern boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 3948 and 3953, to Browns Stream, and by that stream to the western bank of the Waiau River: thence by the said Waiau River and the northern bank of the Hanmer River to the point of commencement; the same being more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 98210, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon bordered green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of February, 1938.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-eighth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight.
