Defining the Middle-line of a Road in Block IX, Ngongotaha Survey District, and Blocks I and V, Tatu Survey District—viz., Deviations of the Waiota-Tauo Main Highway.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a road in Block IX, Ngongotaha Survey District, and Blocks I and V, Tatu Survey District—viz., deviations of the Waiota-Tauo Main Highway—shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

COMMENCING at a point on the existing Waiota-Tauo Main Highway on the boundary between Te Atiamuri and Ngongotaha Survey Districts, being the point of termination of the middle-line of a road defined by a Proclamation dated 17th September, 1937, and published in a New Zealand Gazette, 1937, page 2203, and proceeding thence in a southerly direction generally for a distance of approximately 8 miles 29 chains, and passing in, into, through or over the following lands, &c. —viz., Sections 2, 3, parts 4c, parts 6, 23A, parts 20, part 7, part 8, 18, 12A, parts 12B, 11B 2, and 12D, Tatu East Block, all situated in Block IX, Ngongotaha Survey District, and Blocks I and V, Tatu Survey District; Crown land and Sections 1A and 2, Block V, Tatu Survey District, and terminating at a point on the said highway at its junction with Mokai Road near the southernmost corner of the said Section 2; including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses: all in the Auckland Land District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 98051, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of January, 1938.

Revoking a Proclamation defining the Middle-line of a Portion of the Paeroa-Pokeno Railway (bm.—1m. 46ch. from Paeroa).

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the ninth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 55 of the eighteenth day of the same month, at page 1068, defining the middle-line of a portion of the Paeroa-Pokeno Railway.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of December, 1937.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land in Matakohe Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

LAND PROCLAIMED AS ROAD.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as road : 3 roods 31 perches.

Being portion of Allotment S.E. 122, Matakohe Parish; coloured red.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

ROAD CLOSED.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed : 3 roods 15 perches.

Adjoining or passing through Allotments S.E. 122 and S.W. 127, Matakohe Parish; coloured green.

Situated in Block X, Matakohe Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 29143.)

All in the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 97792, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
