NOTICE is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court dated the 3rd day of December, 1937, confirming the reduction of capital of the above-named company from £42,000 to £18,300 and the minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered the several particulars required by the above-mentioned statute were registered by the Registrar of Companies at Wellington on the 13th day of December, 1937 : And further take notice that the said minute is in the words and figures following :-

"The capital of Watson Brothers, Limited, is £18,300 divided into 1,830 shares of £10 each (reduced from £42,000 divided into 2,200 ordinary shares of £10 each and 2,000 preference shares of £10 each). At the time of registration of this minute all the said shares have been issued and are fully paid."

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

The Wellington City Milk Supply Loan 1933 Renewal Loan, 1938.

THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 16th day of December, 1937.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the provisions of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, and its amendments, and of all other Acts, powers, and authorities it in this behalf enabling, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:-

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking-fund, and other charges on a special loan of thirty-two thousand seven hundred pounds (£32,700) to be known as the Wellington City Milk Supply Loan 1933 Renewal Loan, 1938, authorized to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying the amount of the Wellington City Milk Supply Loan, 1933, which matures on the 31st day of March, 1938, and which is not provided for by the accumulated sinking funds or by the proceeds from the sale of part of the old milk-station premises in Dixon Street to Woolworths (N.Z.), Limited, the said Wellington City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of thirty-four nine-hundredths of a penny (34/900d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the City of Wellington, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten (10) years from the 31st day of March, 1938, or until the loan is fully paid off."
