Notice to Creditors.

NOTICE is hereby given that all creditors, including debenture-holders, having claims against the First Mortgage Freehold Security Company of New Zealand, Ltd. (in Liquidation), are required to lodge such claims on the prescribed form with the Public Trustee, Wellington, the liquidator of the company, on or before the 17th day of January, 1938.

Proof-of-debt forms may be obtained from the Public Trustee, Wellington.

The affidavit proving the debt must state whether the creditor is secured or not. Secured creditors, with the exception of debenture-holders, are required to give particulars of the security, the date when it was given and the value at which it is now estimated by the creditor.

Building, Hereford Street, Christchurch, on Wednesday, the 5th day of January, 1938, at ten o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of laying an account before the meeting showing how the winding up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of THE SCOULLAR COMPANY, LIMITED, a company under the said Act.

NOTICE is hereby given that an order of the Supreme Court made at Wellington, on Friday, the 10th day of December, 1937, confirming the reduction of capital of the above-named company from forty thousand pounds (£40,000) to twenty-four thousand pounds (£24,000) and the minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered the several particulars required by the above-named statute were registered by the Registrar of Companies at Wellington, on Tuesday, the 14th day of December, 1937: And further take notice that the said minute is in the words and figures following:—

“The capital of the company henceforth is £24,000 divided into 40,000 shares of 12s. each, instead of the former capital of £40,000 divided into 40,000 shares of £1 each. At the time of registration of this minute 38,140 shares have been issued and are fully paid up. The remaining 1,860 shares are unissued.”

WHANGAREI LAND COMPANY, LIMITED.

IN LIQUIDATION.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a general meeting of the above-named company duly convened and held on the 27th day of September, 1931, the following resolution was duly passed; and at a subsequent general meeting of the said company also duly convened and held on the 19th day of October, 1931, the same resolution was duly confirmed as a special resolution, namely:—

“That the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue in business, and it is advisable to wind up same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908, and that Mr. J. T. F. MITCHELL, of Auckland, be appointed liquidator for the purposes of the winding up.”
