KAIKOKOPU SUBDIVISION.

Class A: In the unimproved value of all land classified as Class A by the persons appointed to classify lands under section 3 of the Swamp Drainage Amendment Act, 1928, fourpence and fifty-seven one-hundredths of a penny (4·57d.) in the pound.

Class B: On the unimproved value of all land so classified as Class B, threepence and fifty-five one-hundredths of a penny (3·55d.) in the pound.

Class C: On the unimproved value of all land so classified as Class C, twopence and three one-hundredths of a penny (2·03d.) in the pound.

Public Service Superannuation Fund.—Election of Members of the Board.

———

NOTICE is hereby given that an election will be held on Monday, the 7th day of March, 1938, for the purpose of electing, as members of the Public Service Superannuation Board, two representatives of the contributors who belong to the Post and Telegraph Department, one representative of the contributors who belong to the Police Force, and three representatives of the contributors who belong to other Departments of the Public Service.

The said election will be held at the office of the Public Service Superannuation Board, Police Building, Johnston Street, Wellington, C. 1.

A separate ballot will be taken of the contributors who belong to the Post and Telegraph Department, of the contributors who belong to the Police Force, and of the contributors who belong to other Departments of the Public Service.

Nominations will be received by the Returning Officer, in the form prescribed by Regulation 44 under the Public Service Superannuation Act, 1927, until Monday, the 24th day of January, 1938, at 4.30 o’clock p.m. The voting-lists will be closed on the same date.

The poll will close at 5 o’clock p.m. on the 7th March, 1938. Ballot-papers posted to the Returning Officer must reach him not later than 5 o’clock p.m. on the fifteenth day after the date of the closing of the poll. Ballot-papers, if delivered to the Returning Officer, must be so delivered in a sealed envelope not later than 5 o’clock p.m. on the day of the closing of the poll.

NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to an application in that behalf made to me by the Wellington Dairy Factory Managers’ Industrial Union of Workers, registered number 1367, situated at Wellington, and in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 22 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925, it is my intention to cancel the registration of that industrial union after the expiration of six weeks from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, unless in the meantime cause is shown to the contrary.
