Land taken for the Purposes of Public Buildings of the General Government in the City of Wellington subject to certain Interests.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of public buildings of the General Government subject to (a) right-of-way over part thereof created by Memorandum of Transfer registered in the Land Registry Office at Wellington as number 13169; (b) unregistered Memorandum of Lease dated the fourth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five, between the Wellington Hospital Board and James McParland, of Wellington, of the one part, and Magnus William Thompson and Frances Mary Thompson, his wife, both of Wellington, of the other part; and (c) unregistered Memorandum of Lease dated the fourteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five, between James McParland aforesaid of the one part and Mary McKenna, of Wellington, of the other part; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twentieth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 2 roods 17·18 perches.
Being portion of Section 514, Town of Wellington (S.O. 20031).
Situated in the City of Wellington.
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 97797, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of December, 1937.

Additional Land taken for the Purposes of a Public School in Block VI, Hokianga Survey District, Hokianga County.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a public school, and shall vest in the Education Board of the District of Auckland as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-seventh day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood 18 perches.
Being part Pakanae No. 2y No. 3 Block.
Situated in Block VI, Hokianga Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 29103.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 97403, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of December, 1937.

Crown Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—AUCKLAND FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, Ohinemuri County, containing by admeasurement 174 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Section 11, Block XI, Ohinemuri Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan 26/28, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of December, 1937.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, Thames County, containing by admeasurement 151 acres 3 roods 14 perches, more of less, and being Sections 1 and 2, Block V, Tairua Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on Plan No. 23/42, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Auckland plan 22476.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of December, 1937.

All that area, containing by admeasurement 803 acres, more or less, being Sections 18, 21, 22, and 24, Block I, Umutoi Survey District, and being Provisional State Forest No. 76 (Gazette, 1922, page 1512).
