Decisions of the Bureau of Industry under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

I HEREBY give notice that pursuant to the authority conferred on the Bureau of Industry under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936, the following decisions in respect to applications for licenses have been made.

Wanganui East Service Station, Ltd. To move one portable petrol pump from Okato to the store and post-office, Kakatahi Kakatahi, Wanganui Granted 1st Nov., 1937.

Taking Fish for Purposes of Sale.

J. L. Snell To take fish at Helensville by means of the 28 ft. 30 h.p. motor-boat “Victory” using set-nets and long and hand lines Helensville Granted 1st Nov., 1937.
H. Perceval To take fish at Kaipara, Helensville, by means of the 22 ft. 10 h.p. launch “Dorothy” using set-nets and long and hand lines Mairangi Bay, Takapuna Granted 1st Nov., 1937.

Notice to Persons affected by Application for a License under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

I HEREBY give notice that an application has been received from G. J. Hassall for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at the Otehei Lodge, Otehei Bay.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau in respect of this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 21st November, 1937. All representations must set out clearly the grounds for same and include a statement showing the gallonage throughput of petrol sold and the nature of the business conducted by the person making the representations.

I HEREBY give notice that applications have been received from—

(1) W. H. Nash, for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at his garage at Broadwood.

(2) R. Pippen, for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at his garage at Mangatangi.

(3) R. Pangley, for permission to transfer three petrol pumps from the corner of High Street and Melling Road to the corner of High and Brunswick Streets, Lower Hutt, and install six additional petrol pumps in the form of a service station.

(4) C. C. Williams, for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at the post-office store, Wainui-o-mata.

(5) P. H. Johnson, for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at Makuri.

(6) W. H. Saies, for a license to resell (retail) motor-spirit at his store at Saies.

(7) W. Sharland, for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at a proposed new store at Umawera.

(8) J. E. Frew, for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit from a commercial pump at Greendale.

(9) John Winlove and Sons, to move two petrol pumps, one from a position on the kerbside at the applicants’ premises, Waipukurau, and one from the applicants’ property in Porangahau to form a drive through service station in Herbert Street, Waipukurau.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau in respect of these applications, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing to the undersigned not later than the 25th November, 1937. All representations must set out clearly the grounds for same and include a statement showing the gallonage throughput of petrol sold and the nature of the business conducted by the person making the representations.
