Approval of Testing Officers under the Motor-drivers’ Regulations, 1931.
IN terms of Regulation 5 of the Motor-drivers’ Regulations, 1931, the Minister of Transport does hereby approve, until further notice, of the persons named in column 2 of the Schedule hereunder being Testing Officers under the said regulations for the authority specified in column 1 of the said Schedule.

Defence Rifle Club disbanded.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has approved of the disbandment of the undermentioned defence rifle club under section 43 of the Defence Act, 1909 :-
Stoke’s Valley Defence Rifle Club,
with headquarters at Stoke’s Valley, Lower Hutt.
Date of disbandment : 15th October, 1937.

Authorizing the Laying-off of Road of less Width than 66 ft.
WHEREAS in the opinion of the Minister of Lands it is inexpedient, by reason of the fact that the land shown upon the plan of the Town of Ashburton Extension No. 21 affecting parts Rural Section 8767, Block N111, Ashburton Survey District, is intended to be used wholly for residential purposes, that Baker Street shown thereon should be of the width of 66 ft. :
Now, therefore, I, Frank Langstone, Minister of Lands, do hereby, in pursuance of the power conferred upon me by section seventeen, subsection one, of the Land Act, 1924, and of every power me thereunto enabling, authorize the laying-off of such road of a width of not less than 50 ft. : Provided always that it shall not be lawful for any person to erect or cause to be erected any building at a less distance than 33 ft. from the middle-line of such road.

I, HAROLD BEANLAND WALTON, Assistant Registrar of Incorporated Societies, do hereby declare that, as it has been made to appear to me that the Auckland Glassworker’s Union (Incorporated), 1923/19; Kerepehi Lawn Tennis Club, Incorporated, 1924/50; Te Kuiti Workingmen’s Social Club, Incorporated, 1926/29; the Ngatea Tennis Club, Incorporated, 1926/49; the Auckland Transport Board Inspectorial Staff Association, Incorporated, 1928/19; the South Auckland Herd Testing Association, Incorporated, 1928/23, are no longer carrying on their operations, the aforesaid societies are hereby dissolved in pursuance of section 28 of the Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.
