Additional Land between New Lynn and Glen Eden taken for
the Purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use,
convenience, and enjoyment of the Kaipara-Waikato
Railway to take further land between New Lynn and Glen
Eden in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes
of the said railway :
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise
of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections
thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works
Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise
enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken
for the purposes above mentioned.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land :-

(New Lynn Borough.)

Situated in Waikomiti Parish, Block III, Titirangi Survey
District. (S.O. 29191 and 29193, blue.)

In the North Auckland Land District ; as the same are
more particularly delineated on the plans marked L.O. 4873
and 4874, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at
Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow and green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of
October, 1937.

Declaring a Portion of Railway Land at Papakura to be Crown
Land.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section thirty-five of the Public Works
Act, 1928, it is provided that in the case of any
land taken, purchased, or acquired for a Government work,
and not required for that purpose, the Governor-General may,
on recommendation by the Minister, by Proclamation declare
such land to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924,
and thereupon the land may be administered and disposed
of under that Act accordingly :
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in
pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
on me by section thirty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928,
and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling
me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare the land
described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to
the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 11·62 perches.
Portion of railway land (part Lot 1, D.P. 26362, of Allotments
209 and 216, Block XI, Village of Papakura), Block IV,
Drury Survey District, Town of Papakura. (S.O. 29189,
blue.)

In the North Auckland Land District ; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 4883,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at
Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of
October, 1937.

Palmerston North.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and section
thirty-two of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1936, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land de-
scribed in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing
purposes ; and I do also declare that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the eighteenth day of October,
one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven.

Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of
October, 1937.

Waihou Survey District, Borough of Paeroa.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me
in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road ;
and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect
on and after the eighteenth day of October, one thousand nine
hundred and thirty-seven.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 12 acres
2 roods 12 perches.
Being portion of southern portion Opatito Block.

Situated in Blocks XII and XVI, Waihou Survey District
(Auckland R. D.) (Borough of Paeroa). (S.O. 29018.)

In the Auckland Land District ; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 95927,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of
October, 1937.
