ERRATUM.—On page 2221 of the New Zealand Gazette No. 65, 23rd September, 1936, under the heading “Decisions of the Bureau of Industry under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936,” it was notified that the Bureau of Industry had granted a license to Watts and Grieve, Ltd., Invercargill, to install four petrol pumps inside a proposed garage in Wood Street, Invercargill. This decision should have read “Granted, two pumps only to be installed.”


Additional Land at Horotiu taken for the Purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Kaipara–Waikato Railway to take further land at Horotiu in addition to land previously acquired for the purpose of the said railway :

Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.


SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 2 roods 6·26 perches. Portion of Allotment 112, Horotiu Parish, Block XII, Newcastle Survey District, Waipa County. (S.O. 29178, blue.)

In the Auckland Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 4867, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of October, 1937.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Christchurch–Lyttelton Branch of the Hurunui–Waitaki Railway to take further land at Christchurch in addition to land previously acquired for the purpose of the said railway :

Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

In the Canterbury Land District ; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 4853, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of October, 1937.
