Land taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block XV, Newcastle Survey District, Waipa County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eleventh day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken:- A. R. P. Being portions of part Allotment 85, Horotiu Parish. Situated in Block XV, Newcastle Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 28168.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 96695, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor- General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of September, 1937.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

ALL those areas in the North Auckland Land District, Whangarei County, containing together 2 acres 1 rood 5.4 perches, more or less, being Sections 42, 43, 44, and 45, Block XII, Hukerenui Survey District. As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 20/850B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (North Auckland plan 28919.)

SECOND SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Whangarei County, containing by admeasurement 38 acres 0 roods 27 perches, more or less, being the residue of Section 14, Block XII, Hukerenui Survey District, the said section having been permanently reserved for the purposes of primary education by notice published in New Zealand Gazette of the 6th day of December, 1888, at page 1347. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 20/850c, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor- General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of September, 1937.

Land set apart as Provisional State Forest declared to be subject to the Land Act, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act, 1921-22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being Provisional State Forest Reserve No. 1734, set apart by Proclamation dated the seventh day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, and gazetted on the ninth day of that month, is required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest, and shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.

PROVISIONAL State Forest Reserve 1734 (formerly part Section 2896), Block V, Brunner Survey District : Area, 205 acres, more or less.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of September, 1937.

Alteration of Boundaries, Christchurch Drainage District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by section two of the Christchurch District Drainage Amendment Act, 1920, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that as on and from the first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, the area described in the Schedule hereto shall be added to and form part of the Christchurch Drainage District ; and, with the like powers and authorities, do hereby also declare that the said area shall be added to the Rural Riccarton Subdistrict of the said district.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District containing by admeasurement 1 rood 20.5 perches, more or less, and being Lot 1, plan number 11020, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Christchurch, and being part of Rural Section 56, situated in Block X, Christchurch Survey District, being the whole of the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 451, folio 171.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of September, 1937.

Land set apart as an Endowment for Primary Education.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by subsection nine of section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date hereof the land comprised in the pieces of closed road described in the First Schedule hereto, being land which is adjacent to the endowment for primary education described in the Second Schedule hereto, shall be deemed to be added to the said endowment.

Road closed in Block X, Tauhoa Survey District, North Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the road in Tauhoa Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 1 acre 2 roods. Adjoining or passing through Section 9, Block X, part Lot 1, D.P. 18928, being part Mataia Block and Crown land in Blocks IX and X, Tauhoa Survey District.
