A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as street the land in the Taradale Town District described in the Schedule hereto.

In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 96808, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 17th day of September, 1937.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed : 3 acres 1 rood 8 perches.
Adjoining or passing through part Allotment S. 33, Ahuroa Parish, being all of the land on D.P. 25106.

Crown Land set apart as a Provisional State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a provisional State forest.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—AUCKLAND FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
ALL those areas in the Auckland Land District, Otorohanga County, containing approximately 16,500 acres, and described as follows :—
All that area containing approximately 16,085 acres, situated in Blocks I, II, III, V, VI, and X, Ranginui Survey District, and Block IV, Pakaumanu Survey District, and bounded generally as follows : Commencing at a point in Block IV, Pakaumanu Survey District, being the north-eastern corner of Rangitoto A No. 28 Block; thence towards the north generally by Rangitoto A part 24B Block, Section 9, Block I, Wharepapa Survey District, the crossing of a public road, by that road, Sections 10 and 12, Block I, Wharepapa Survey District, and Section 3, Block II, Ranginui Survey District, to and by a public road, the crossing of that road, Section 19 of aforesaid Block II, the crossing of a public road, and Section 1, Block II, and Sections 5 and 4, Block III, Ranginui Survey District; towards the east generally by a provisional State forest (Gazette, 1923, page 321, Gazette, 1931, page 1454, and Gazette, 1920, page 2119), Wharepuhunga-Pouakani and Wharepuhunga-Pouakani-Maraeroa Blocks, and a provisional State forest (Gazette, 1920, page 2119); and towards the south-west generally by the last-mentioned provisional State forest, Rangitoto A No. 28 Block, the crossing of a public road, and again by Rangitoto A No. 28 Block, to the point of commencement, save and excepting all intersecting public roads.
Also all that area containing approximately 415 acres, situated in Block XI, Ranginui Survey District, and bounded generally as follows : Towards the north-east by provisional State forests (Gazette, 1920, page 2119, and Gazette, 1920, page 2108), a public road, and the crossing of that road; towards the north-east and south-east by the last-mentioned provisional State forest; towards the south-west by a provisional State forest (Gazette, 1920, page 2119); and towards the north-west by a public road, the crossing of that road, and by Wharepuhunga-Pouakani Block; save and excepting an intersecting public road.
