Crown Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.

SCHEDULE.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.—SOUTHLAND FOREST- CONSERVATION REGION.

ALL that area in the Otago Land District containing by admeasurement 34 acres, more or less, being Sections 1479R and 1480R, and situated in Blocks XVI and XVII, Greenvale Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on Plan No. 204/45, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 13th day of September, 1937.

Crown Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921-22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—AUCKLAND FOREST- CONSERVATION REGION.

All that area in the Auckland Land District containing by admeasurement 448 acres, more or less, and being Section 2, Block V, Whitianga Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan No. 23/41, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland plan S.O. 10939.)

Also all that area in the Auckland Land District containing by admeasurement 1,832 acres 3 roods 10 perches, more or less, being Sections 2, 3, and 19, Block IX, Whitianga Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 23/42, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland plans S.O. 21162 and 29080.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 13th day of September, 1937.

Land in the Westland Land District proclaimed as ceasing to be set apart as National-endowment Land.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section three hundred and two of the Land Act, 1924, as amended by section ten of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1926, it is enacted that on the disposal of any national-endowment land by way of sale, or on the acquisition of the fee-simple of any such land, the Governor-General may by Proclamation declare that such land shall, as from a date to be specified in the Proclamation, cease to be national-endowment land:

And whereas the fee-simple of the land described in the Schedule hereto (being land heretofore held on renewable lease tenure) has been acquired, and it is expedient that the said land should cease to be national-endowment land:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the aforesaid section three hundred and two of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the twelfth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, the land described in the said Schedule which was set apart as national-endowment land under the provisions of section two hundred and fifty-eight of the Land Act, 1908, shall cease to be national-endowment land.

SCHEDULE.

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 2813, Block III, Waitangitaona Survey District: Area, 165 acres.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of September, 1937.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 15th day of September, 1937.

Present:

His Excellency The Governor-General in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for the purposes of a road.
