In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 95972, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 31st day of August, 1937.

Defining the Middle-line of a Road in Block VIII, Waitoa Survey District, and Block V, Aroha Survey District—viz., Portion of the No. 17 Hamilton-Paeroa State Highway.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a road desired to be constructed over Block VIII, Waitoa Survey District, and Block V, Aroha Survey District—viz., portion of the No. 17 Hamilton-Paeroa State Highway—shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
COMMENCING at a point on the existing No. 17 Hamilton-Paeroa State Highway opposite Lot 10, D.P. 13241, Block VIII, Waitoa Survey District, about 6 chains north-west of the southern corner of the said Lot 10, and proceeding thence in a south-easterly direction generally for a distance of approximately 1 mile 50 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c.—viz., Lot 11, D.P. 13241, being part Waitoki Block; Te Maire Block and railway land; Block VIII, Waitoa Survey District, part Patuwhao Block on D.P. 7782 ; Block VIII, Waitoa Survey District, and Block V, Aroha Survey District, part Patuwhao Block on D.P. 7035 ; Lot I, D.P. 7035, being part Patuwhao Block; part Section 1A; and other part Section 1A on D.P. 16061, Block V, Aroha Survey District—and terminating at a point on the said highway opposite the southern corner of part Section 1C, Block V, Aroha Survey District; including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses : all in the Auckland Land District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 96874, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the purposes of the Tokanui Mental Hospital; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the thirteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven.
