WORKERS’ DWELLINGS (ABATTOIR) LOAN, 1935.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE OF ·005D. IN POUND.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Rotorua Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—

“That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £500, authorized to be raised by the Rotorua Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the erection of Workers’ Dwellings (Abattoir), the said Rotorua Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ·005 pence in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Rotorua, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

HAWKE’S BAY AND EAST COAST AERO CLUB (INCORPORATED).

In the matter of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1935, and in the matter of the safety of the Hastings Aerodrome.

THE Hawke’s Bay and East Coast Aero Club (Incorporated) (hereinafter called “the Club”), the local authority controlling the above-mentioned aerodrome situate at Bridge Pah near Hastings, being Lot one (1) on deposited plan Number 6146, situate in Block II, Te Mata Survey District, and Block XIV, Heretaunga Survey District, and being part of the Te-Awa-o-te-atua and part of the Mangaroa Blocks comprising seventy-eight (78) acres two (2) roods fifteen (15) perches, and being all the land comprised in certificate of title, H.B. Volume 73, folio 196, pursuant to section 4 of the above-mentioned Act and by direction of the Minister of Public Works pursuant to section 6 of the said Act, does hereby give notice limiting the height to which trees may be grown on that part of the adjoining land owned by the Hastings Golf Club shown edged red on a plan marked P.W.D. 93443, which plan may be inspected at the office of R. D. Brown, Accountant, Queen Street, Hastings, the secretary of the said Hawke’s Bay and East Coast Aero Club (Incorporated), without the consent of the Minister of Public Works, to five feet above the level of the boundary of the said aerodrome nearest that portion of the said land on which any tree is now growing, increased by one-fifteenth part of the distance measured on a horizontal plane between the said boundary and the said portion of the said land.

Given under the Seal of the Hawke’s Bay and East Coast Aero Club (Incorporated), this 20th day of January, 1937, in the presence of—

ONEHUNGA BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION.

THAT for the purpose of complying with requisitions made by the Board of Health under section 22 (2) of the Health Act, 1920, and in exercise of the powers conferred upon it by section 24 (2) of the Health Act, 1920, and by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers it thereunto enabling, the Onehunga Borough Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order:—

“(1) To borrow the sum of £9,000 for the purpose of providing drainage for sewerage and storm-water in Angle Street, Patrick Street, and addition to storm-water overflows at junction of Captain Springs Road and Neilson, Mill, and Albert Streets, and on the 18 in. sewer near the tidal tank within the Borough of Onehunga, and otherwise complying with the said requisitions of the Board of Health.

“(2) That for the purpose of providing interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the said loan of £9,000, the Onehunga Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 3/10ths pence in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Onehunga, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, which is for a period of fifteen years at a rate of interest of £3 10s. per centum per annum, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of fifteen years, or until the said loan is fully paid off.”

The Common Seal of the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Onehunga was hereto affixed on the 20th day of January, 1937, in the presence of—
