at Erskine Point; thence by mean high-water mark to the
Native Reserve No. 875; thence towards the west generally
by the said Native Reserve No. 875 to the commencing-
point.

Also all that area in the Canterbury Land District known as
Diamond Harbour, being Rural Sections Nos. 22982, 246,
498, and 1333, and part of Rural Section No. 2404: Bounded
towards the north and east generally by the road running
along the shore of Lyttelton Harbour from the northernmost
corner of Rural Section No. 243E to the northernmost corner
of Rural Section No. 24110; thence towards the south
generally by the said Section No. 24110 and Charteris Bay
Road to the south-western side of the right-of-way which
intersects Rural Section No. 2404; thence towards the
south-west by the south-western side of that right-of-way
to Rural Section No. 243E near its easternmost corner;
and thence by the said Section No. 243E to its northernmost
corner, the place of commencement.

Notifying Land in Auckland Land District subject to the Land
for Settlements Act, 1925.

Department of Lands and Survey,
Wellington, 25th August, 1937.

PURSUANT to the provisions of subsection (2) of section 48
of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, notice is hereby
given that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being
the land known as Hereford Park Settlement, was acquired by
the Crown on the 27th day of June, 1919, and became subject
to the provisions of the Land for Settlements Act, 1908, as
from that date.


SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—HEREFORD PARK SETTLEMENT.
ALL that area in the Tauranga County containing by ad-
measurement 1,420 acres 0 roods 30 perches, more or less,
being Lot 2 on plan No. 7118, deposited in the office of the
District Land Registrar at Auckland, being part Section 3,
Block VI, Waihi South Survey District, the same being
more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S.
21/164 “B,” deposited in the Head Office, Department of
Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Scheme.

PURSUANT to section 4 of the Native Land Amendment
Act, 1936, the Board of Native Affairs hereby declares
the Native-owned land described in the Schedule hereto to be
subject to Part I of the said Act and to be included in the
Tauranga Development Scheme.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area of Native-owned land in the Waiariki Native
Land Court District, situate in Block III, Te Tumu Survey
District, being all the land comprised in Certificate of Title,
Volume 236, folio 87, and known as Papamoa No. 2 Section 3C
Block, containing 85 acres, more or less.

Dated at Wellington, this 23rd day of August, 1937.

Title, Volume 271, folio 162.

containing 109 acres, more or less.

Tamaki Strait: Existence of Rocks.

Position: Lat., 36° 48′·8 S.; long., 174° 59′·4 E. (approx.).
Details: The following rocks, with positions given from
Park Point, have been found:—

(1) A rock with least depth of 6 ft. 277½°, 6·6 cables.
(2) A rock with least depth of 4 ft. 286¼°, 5·2 cables.
(3) A rock with least depth of 10 ft. 269°, 3·8 cables.
