A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the road in Moawhango Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed : 1 rood 17·5 perches.
Adjoining or passing through part land marked " Reserve " on plan W.D. 3240, Block IX, Moawhango Survey District. (S.O. plan 3270.)
In the Wellington Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/1802/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2795, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of July, 1937.

Lands in the Otago Land District proclaimed as ceasing to be set apart as National-endowment Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section three hundred and two of the Land Act, 1924, as amended by section ten of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1926, it is enacted that on the disposal of any national-endowment land by way of sale, or on the acquisition of the fee-simple of any such land, the Governor-General may by Proclamation declare that such land shall, as from a date to be specified in the Proclamation, cease to be national-endowment land:
And whereas the fee-simple of the lands described in the Schedule hereto (being lands heretofore held on renewable lease tenure) has been acquired, and it is expedient that the said lands should cease to be national-endowment lands:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the aforesaid section three hundred and two of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the dates specified in the Schedule hereto the lands described in the said Schedule which were set apart as national-endowment lands under the provisions of section two hundred and fifty-eight of the Land Act, 1908, shall cease to be national-endowment lands.
SCHEDULE.
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.
Section 56, Block IV, Greenvale Survey District: Area, 2 acres 3 roods 28 perches. Date, 28th May, 1936.
Section 8, Block XXXVII, Town of Alexandra : Area, 10 acres 3 roods 12 perches. Date, 14th April, 1937.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day of July, 1937.

Authorizing the Wellington City Council to erect Electric Lines in further Portion of the County of Makara.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 4th day of August, 1937.
Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Wellington City Council (hereinafter referred to as "the licensee") to lay, construct, put up, place, and use electric lines within the area of supply described in the Schedule hereto on the following conditions.
CONDITIONS.
1. PURPOSES OF LINES.
The said lines may be used for lighting, power, and heating purposes. The conditions of clause 27-11 of the Electrical Supply Regulations, 1935, directed to be implied in all licenses shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this license except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
2. LICENSE TO BE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS.
The license hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations, 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations, 1935, and with all regulations made or to be made in amendment or amplification thereof or in substitution therefor.
