A PROCLAMATION.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere
Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the portions
of road in Kaupokonui Survey District described in the
Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.

Situated in Block XV, Kaupokonui Survey District

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 94567,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of
January, 1937.

Altering Boundaries of Thames and Coromandel Counties and
including Area in Whenuakiti Riding, Coromandel County.

A PROCLAMATION.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred on me by section fourteen of the Counties Act,
1920, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in
that behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the area described in the First
Schedule hereto being now part of the County of Thames
shall be added to and form part of the County of Coromandel;
that the boundaries of the Counties of Thames and Coromandel
as so altered shall be those set forth under the respective
headings in the Second Schedule hereto; that the area
added as aforesaid to the County of Coromandel shall be
included in the Whenuakiti Riding of the said county;
and that the boundaries of the Whenuakiti Riding as so
altered shall be those set forth in the Third Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
AREA EXCLUDED FROM THE COUNTY OF THAMES AND INCLUDED
IN THE COUNTY OF COROMANDEL.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, bounded by a
line commencing at a point on the south-eastern boundary of
Section 5, Block IV, Whitianga Survey District, where it is
intersected by a line running from the source of the Waikawau
River to the north head of Tairua Harbour; thence along the
south-eastern boundary of said Section 5, the eastern boundary
of Section 4, Block IV, and the north-eastern boundary of
Section 5, Block VII, the north-eastern, eastern, and south-
eastern boundaries of Section 9, and the south-eastern
boundaries of Section 8, Block VII, Whitianga Survey District,
to the southernmost corner of the last-mentioned section;
thence along the eastern, southern, and western boundaries
of Section 7, Block VII, the southern and western boundaries
of Section 6, and the western boundary of Section 5, Block VII,
to Haukawakawa Trig. Station; thence along the western
boundary of Section 4, Block IV, Whitianga Survey District,
to its intersection with a line running from the source of the
Waikawau River to the north head of Tairua Harbour;
thence south-easterly along that line to the south-eastern
boundary of Section 5, Block IV, Whitianga Survey District,
the place of commencement.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
COUNTY OF COROMANDEL.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, bounded on the
west, north, and east generally by the sea from the mouth of
the Waikawau River to the north head of Tairua Harbour;
thence north-westerly along a right line running in the
direction of the source of the Waikawau River to its inter-
section with the south-eastern boundary of Section 5, Block IV,
Whitianga Survey District; thence south-westerly along
that boundary to its south-eastern corner; thence along the
eastern boundary of Section 4, Block IV aforesaid, and the
north-eastern boundaries of Sections 5, 6, and 9, Block VII,
Whitianga Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of the
last-mentioned section; thence along the eastern and
south-eastern boundaries of the said Section 9 and the south-
eastern boundary of Section 8, Block VII aforesaid, to the
southernmost point of the said Section 8; thence along the
eastern, southern, and western boundaries of Section 7,
Block VII aforesaid, to the south-eastern corner of Section 6
of the said Block VII; thence along the southern and western
boundaries of Section 6 and the western boundaries of
Sections 5, Block VII, and Section 4, Block IV, Whitianga
Survey District, to their intersection with a line running
between the northern head of Tairua Harbour and the source
of the Waikawau River; thence along that line to the source
of the Waikawau River, and down that river to its mouth, the
place of commencement.
COUNTY OF THAMES.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, bounded on the
north by the Coromandel County hereinbefore described from
the mouth of the .Waikawau River to the northern head of
Tairua Harbour; thence on the east by the sea to the mouth
of the Otahu River; thence up the middle of that river to
its source; thence along a right line to the source of the
Hikutaia River; thence down the middle of that river to its
confluence with the Waihou River; thence down the middle
of the Waihou River to the sea, and by the sea to the mouth
of the Waikawau River, the place of commencement, and
excluding therefrom the Borough of Thames.
THIRD SCHEDULE.
WHENUAKITI RIDING, COUNTY OF COROMANDEL.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, bounded on the
north by Mercury Bay, on the east by the sea to the north
head of Tairua Harbour; thence north-westerly, southerly,
westerly, and northerly generally along the county boundary
hereinbefore described to the north-west boundary of the
Taranohe Block; thence along the north-western boundary
of that block, the north-western boundary of Section 1,
Block IX, Hastings Survey District, and again by the north-
western boundary of the Taranohe Block to the south-eastern
corner of Section 11, Block V, Hastings Survey District,
along the north-eastern boundary of Section 11 to the south-
eastern boundary of the Ounuoroa Block, and that boundary
produced to Whitianga Harbour; thence by Whitianga
Harbour to Mercury Bay, the place of commencement.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of
January, 1937.

Change of Name of "Waari Hamlet" to "Sunnyvale," County
of Waitemata.

A PROCLAMATION.
Whereas it is considered expedient that the name of
the locality known as "Waari Hamlet," in the
County of Waitemata, should be changed to "Sunnyvale":
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in
pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities con-
ferred on me by the Designation of Districts Act, 1908, and
of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf,
do hereby proclaim and declare that the name of the locality
known as "Waari Hamlet," in the County of Waitemata,
shall be and the same is hereby altered to "Sunnyvale," and
do assign the last-mentioned name to such locality accord-
ingly; and also do hereby proclaim and declare that this
Proclamation shall take effect on the first day of June, one
thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, not being earlier
than six months after the first publication thereof in the
Gazette.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of
November, 1936.
