Land taken for the Purposes of a Recreation-ground in the Borough of Hastings.

A PROCLAMATION.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a recreation-ground, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Hastings as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the first day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 1 rood. Being Lot 213, D.P. 1385, being part of Heretaunga Block.

Situated in the Borough of Hastings (Hawke’s Bay R.D.). (S.O. 1158, green.)

In the Hawke’s Bay Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 94338, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of January, 1937.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land in Whangara Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto ; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

Situated in Block I, Aohanga Survey District---(S.O. 3065.) In the Wellington Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 94159, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of January, 1937.

Situated in Block X, Waoku Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 28249.)

In the North Auckland Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 91519, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of January, 1937.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation proclaiming Land as a Road and Road closed in Blocks VI and VII, Karioi Survey District, Raglan County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Land Act, 1924, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke so much of the Proclamation dated the seventeenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 1 of the ninth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, at page 5, and deposited in the Land and Deeds Registry Office at Auckland as No. 4572, proclaiming land as a road and road closed in Blocks VI and VII, Karioi Survey District, Raglan County, as affects the areas of 2 roods 2 perches, 1 rood 13·2 perches, and 0·09 perches, described in the First Schedule, and the area of 36·2 perches described in the Second Schedule to the said Proclamation.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of January, 1937.
