Additional Land taken for the Purposes of a Post-office in the Borough of Whangarei subject to certain Rights and Interests.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare—(a) That the additional lands described in the Schedules hereto are hereby taken for the purposes of a post-office; (b) that the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is taken subject to rights of way thereover created by unregistered deeds of lease of the seventh day of November, one thousand nine hundred and five, the first day of August, and two of the seventeenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and six, between the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Whangarei of the one part and James McKinnon, of Whangarei (together with his executors, administrators, and permitted assigns), of the other part; and (c) that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the second day of August, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 10·85 perches. Being portion of Lot 1, D.P. 26962, and being portion of Allotment 1, Parish of Whangarei; coloured yellow.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 3 perches. Being portion of Lot 1, D.P. 26962, and being portion of Allotment 1, Parish of Whangarei; coloured red.
All situated in Block XII, Purua Survey District, and Block IX, Whangarei Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 29093.)
All in the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 96453, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of July, 1937.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a police-station; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the second day of August, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven.

Defining the Middle-line of a Portion of the Wellington–New Plymouth Railway (Portion of Turakina–Okia Deviation) (3 m. 0 ch.–10 m. 20 ch.).

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a portion of the Wellington–New Plymouth Railway (portion of Turakina–Okia Deviation) shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
COMMENCING at a point in Lot 2, D.P. 6840, being part Section 247 Left Bank Wanganui River, Block VIII, Ikitara Survey District, marked 3 miles, which point is the termination of the railway described in a Proclamation dated the 4th day of November, 1936, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 1936, at page 2161, and proceeding thence in a southerly direction generally for a distance of approximately 7 miles 20 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c., viz., Lots 2 and 18, D.P. 6840, part Section 247 Left Bank Wanganui River, and Lot 1, D.P. 7399, Block VIII, Ikitara Survey District, Lot 1, D.P. 2763, part Section 248 (D.P. 9402), another part Section 248 Left Bank Wanganui River, Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 2835, being parts Section 248 Left Bank Wanganui River, Ruatangata 1E 3A, 1E 3B, 1B 1, and 1B 4D Blocks, Block XII, Ikitara Survey District, part Ruatangata 1B 4C 2 Block, Blocks XII and XV, Ikitara Survey District, Ruatangata 1B 4E, 1B 3, 1B 4F 2, part 1B 4F 1, and 1A 1B Blocks, and part Lot 1, D.P. 3753, being part Section 33, Block XV, Ikitara Survey District, and terminating at a point marked 10 miles 20 chains on the existing Wellington–New Plymouth line of railway in the Turakina Station Yard opposite the said part Lot 1, D.P. 3753; including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses; all in the Wellington Land District. As the same is delineated on the plans marked P.W.D. 95255 and 96266, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.
