Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise
of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections
thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works
Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise
enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken
for the purposes above mentioned.

Revoking Proclamation relating to Intercolonial Passenger
Traffic.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon
me by section three hundred and sixty-seven of the
Merchant Shipping Act, 1894 (Imperial), I hereby revoke
the Proclamation made on the sixteenth day of May, one
thousand eight hundred and sixty-two, and published in the
Gazette on the twenty-second day of the same month, at
page 186, made under the authority of an Act of the Imperial
Parliament passed in the session held in the twenty-fourth
and twenty-fifth years of the reign of Her late Majesty Queen
Victoria, intituled “ An Act to empower the Governors of
the several Australian Colonies to regulate the number of
passengers to be carried in vessels plying between ports in
those Colonies,” and heretofore enuring under the said
section three hundred and sixty-seven of the Merchant
Shipping Act, 1894 (Imperial).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of the Dominion,
this 6th day of July, 1937.

vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and section
thirty-two of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1936, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes ; and
I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on
and after the nineteenth day of July, one thousand nine
hundred and thirty-seven.

proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule
hereto.
