Additional Land at Edgecumbe taken for the Purposes of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway, and for Road-diversion in connection therewith.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway to take further land at Edgecumbe in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway, and to take land for road-diversion in connection therewith :
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
SCHEDULE.
FOR RAILWAY.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 4·1 perches.
Portion of a road.
FOR ROAD-DIVERSION.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land : 0·4 perches and 5·0 perches.
Portions of railway land, Proclamation 5199 (parts of Allotments 138A and 52, Matata Parish), Block III, Rangitaiki Upper Survey District, Whakatane County. (S.O. 29034, blue.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 4704, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured green and yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 1st day of July, 1937.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway to take further land at Pokeno in addition to land previously acquired for the purpose of the said railway :
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 3 acres 1 rood 26·4 perches.
Being road, Proclamation 6082.
Situated in Block I, Maramarua Survey District, Franklin County. (S.O. 22283, blue.)
In the North Auckland Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 34666, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of July, 1937.
