A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the road in Alexandra Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed : 1 acre 0 roods 35 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Crown land and Allotment 147, Karamu Parish.
Situated in Block XI, Alexandra Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 28534.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 94379, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day of June, 1937.

Land in North Auckland Land District proclaimed as ceasing to be set apart as National-endowment Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section three hundred and two of the Land Act, 1924, as amended by section ten of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1926, it is enacted that on the disposal of any national-endowment land by way of sale, or on the acquisition of the fee-simple of any such land, the Governor-General may by Proclamation declare that such land shall, as from a date to be specified in the Proclamation, cease to be national-endowment land:
And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto has been disposed of by way of sale for cash and it is expedient that the said land should cease to be national-endowment land:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the aforesaid section three hundred and two of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, which was set apart as national-endowment land under the provisions of section two hundred and fifty-eight of the Land Act, 1908, ceased to be national-endowment land as from the seventeenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 21, Block I, Tangihua Survey District : Area, 10 acres l rood 2 perches.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day of June, 1937.

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street between Strickland and Selwyn Streets, in the City of Christchurch, of a Width less than 66 ft., but not less than 50 ft., subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 7th day of July, 1937.
Present :
His EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Christchurch City Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto of a width less than sixty-six feet, but not less than fifty feet, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the portions of the said street shown coloured dark green on the plan referred to in the said Schedule within a distance of thirty-five feet from the centre-line of the said street, or on the land fronting the portion of the said street shown coloured red on the said plan within a distance of forty-three feet from the said centre-line.
SCHEDULE.
THAT proposed street, in the Canterbury Land District, City of Christchurch, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood 2Β·7 perches, more or less, being portion of Rural Section 154. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 96066, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green and red.

Boundaries of City of Invercargill and County of Southland altered.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 7th day of July, 1937.
Present :
His EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS in pursuance of section one hundred and thirty-six of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, a petition was presented to the Governor-General praying that certain areas be excluded from the County of Southland and included in the City of Invercargill :
And whereas a Commission appointed under the said section held inquiries and recommended that the said areas, with an alteration of boundaries thereof, be excluded from the County of Southland and included in the City of Invercargill :
And whereas it is deemed expedient to make the alterations of boundaries recommended by the said Commission :
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby declare that as on and from the first day of August, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, the areas described in the Schedule hereto shall be excluded from the County of Southland and included in the City of Invercargill.
SCHEDULE.
AREAS EXCLUDED FROM COUNTY OF SOUTHLAND AND INCLUDED IN CITY OF INVERCARGILL.
ALL that area in the Southland Land District, being North Invercargill Extensions Nos. 1 and 3, bounded on the west by the City of Invercargill from King Street to Layard Street, on the north by Layard Street, and on the east by Ward Street, to the south-eastern corner of Lot 11, Block IX, North Invercargill Extension No. 3 ; thence along the south-eastern boundary of Lots 11 and 12 to the
