Approval of Persons and Firms for Testing of Motor-vehicles.

IN terms of Regulation 11 of the Traffic Regulations, 1936, I, Robert Semple, Minister of Transport, do hereby notify my approval of the persons or firms described in the Schedule hereto for the purpose of the issue of Warrants of Fitness for motor-vehicles as provided for by the said regulation.

Classification of Roads in Hawera County.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations, 1932, I, Robert Semple, Minister of Transport, do hereby approve of the Main Highways Board’s proposed classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto and situated in Hawera County.

SCHEDULE.

HAWERA COUNTY.

ROADS classified in Class Three: Available for the use thereon of any heavy motor-vehicle (other than a multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle) which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 6½ tons, or any multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 10 tons:—

Auckland–Wellington via Taranaki Main Highway No. 1 (all that portion within Hawera County).

Lepperton Junction–Hawera via Opunake Main Highway No. 36 (all that portion within Hawera County).

Classification of Roads in Waipukurau County.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations, 1932, I, Robert Semple, Minister of Transport, do hereby revoke that portion of the Warrant classifying roads in the Waipukurau County, dated the 31st day of October, 1928, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 82 of the 1st day of November, 1928, and do hereby declare that the roads described in the Schedule hereto and situated in the Waipukurau County shall belong to the respective classes of roads shown in the said Schedule.

Wanganui–Horopito Main Highway No. 48 (all that portion from the north-eastern boundary of Wanganui City to the Aberfeldie Bridge).
