Cancelling the Reservation over Reserves in Village of Conway, Canterbury Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 10th day of June, 1937.
Present:
THE HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation for public utility purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required.

Approving the Term of a License granted to the Whakatane Paper Mills, Limited, for a Tramway along and across certain Roads within the County of Whakatane.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 10th day of June, 1937.

THE HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Tramways Act, 1908, and the Tramways Amendment Act, 1910, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the term of the license granted for a period of twenty-one years from the sixteenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five, by the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Whakatane to the Whakatane Paper Mills, Limited, a duly incorporated company having its registered office for New Zealand at Auckland (hereinafter referred to as “the licensee”), authorizing the licensee to construct and maintain a private tramway on, across, and along certain roads within the County of Whakatane, the position of such tramway being more particularly shown on the plan marked P.W.D. 95863, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
Francis Charles Sullivan,
William Robert Christian,
Leslie Mills Ford,
Ernest Harrison Jones,
Oscar Alan Phillips,
Arthur Oscar Thomas, and
Reginald Forbes Thompson
to be the Wangapeka Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Monday, the seventh day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, at seven-thirty o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Matariki School as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
