Revoking a Proclamation taking Land for Defence Purposes in Block XIV, Cloudy Bay Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the fifteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 71 of the seventeenth day of the same month, at page 2837, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Blenheim as No. 430, taking land for defence purposes in Block XIV, Cloudy Bay Survey District.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of June, 1937.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for defence purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-first day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven.

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 96007, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a gravel-pit; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-first day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 9 acres 0 roods 2 perches.
Being portion of Section 7.
Situated in Block XII, Invercargill Hundred (Southland R.D.). (S.O. 29/116.)
In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 95072, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of June, 1937.

Land taken for the Purposes of a Quarry in Block XVI, Belmont Survey District, subject to certain Rights.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a quarry, subject to certain easements created thereover by a memorandum of transfer registered in the Land Registry Office at Wellington as No. 215742, and by an unregistered agreement dated the fifth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, between the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Lower Hutt, and the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Eastbourne, protected by a caveat registered in the said Land Registry Office as No. 11741; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-first day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 4 acres 2 roods 25·9 perches.
Being portion of the land shown on D.P. 3298, and being part Section 20, Harbour District.
Situated in Block XVI, Belmont Survey District. (S.O. 3227.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 94624, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of June, 1937.

Appointment of Chairman and Member of Adjustment Commission.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 10th day of June, 1937.

THE HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section twenty-four of the Mortgagors and Lessees Rehabilitation Act, 1936, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint Samuel Lewis, Esquire, of Cambridge, to be a member of the South Auckland Adjustment Commission in place of William Francis Johns, Esquire, resigned, and doth appoint the said Samuel Lewis to be Chairman of the said Commission; and, further, doth appoint Harold Edgar Edgley, Esquire, of Napier, to be a member of the Hawke’s Bay (Urban) Adjustment Commission in place of F. J. Douglas, Esquire, resigned.
