reserving certain Lands for various Purposes.

GALWAY, Governor-General,
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon
me by section five of the Land Act, 1924, and of every
other power enabling me in that behalf, I, George Vere
Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, do hereby revoke in so far as they relate
to the land described in the Schedule hereto a temporary
Warrant dated the ninth day of September, one thousand
nine hundred and fifteen, and published in the New Zealand
Gazette of the sixteenth day of that month, and a permanent
Warrant dated the second day of November, one thousand
nine hundred and fifteen, and published in the New Zealand
Gazette of the fourth day of that month, reserving certain
lands for various purposes.

SECTION 14a, Block XII, Hukerenui Survey District :
Area, 9 acres 0 roods 12 perches, more or less.

Notifying the proposed Exchange of Crown Land in the Auckland
Land District for other Land.
———
GALWAY, Governor-General,
WHEREAS by section one hundred and sixty of the
Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that it shall be lawful
for the Governor-General, whenever he deems it expedient in
the public interest, to grant in fee-simple any area of Crown
land which is subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924,
in exchange for the fee-simple of any other land, and on any
such exchange to pay or receive any sum by way of equality
of exchange :
And whereas in the opinion of the Governor-General it
is expedient to exchange the Crown land described in the
First Schedule hereto for the land described in the Second
Schedule hereto, and the owner of the land described in the
Second Schedule has agreed to such exchange :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the aforesaid
powers and authorities, doth hereby declare it is his intention
to grant in fee-simple the area of Crown land described in
the First Schedule hereto in exchange for the fee-simple of
the land described in the Second Schedule.

FIRST SCHEDULE.
DESCRIPTION OF LAND AUTHORIZED TO BE EXCHANGED.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by
admeasurement 4 acres 2 roods 11 perches, more or less,
being Section 8, Block XIV, Onewhero Survey District.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
DESCRIPTION OF LAND TO BE OBTAINED IN EXCHANGE
THEREFOR.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by
admeasurement 4 acres 2 roods 11 perches, more or less, being
part Section 1, Block XIV, Onewhero Survey District, shown
on plan 26537, deposited in the office of the District Land
Registrar at Auckland (Certificate of Title, Volume 261,
folio 91, Auckland Registry) : Bounded towards the west
and north-west by other part Section 1, Block XIV, Onewhero
Survey District, 636-2 and 740-1 links respectively ; towards
the east by Section 5, Block XIV aforesaid, 705-1 links ; and
towards the south generally by a public road, Section 9 of
Block XIV aforesaid, and again a public road, 98-9, 378-7,
3-6, and 267-4 links ; be all the aforesaid linkages more or
less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the
plan marked L. and S. 6/1/560a, deposited in the Head
Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington,
and thereon edged red. (Auckland plans D.P. 26537 and
14876.)

General, this 4th day of June, 1937.

to appoint, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
and authorities of section 3 of the Tobacco-growing Industry
Act, 1935, the following persons to be members of the Tobacco
Board in place of Gerhard Hushcer and Rupert Barkley
Smith, who have resigned, as representatives of manu-
facturers :—

PURSUANT to the powers conferred upon me by clause
6 (2) (b) of the Dairy Factory Managers' Regulations,
1934, I, William Lee Martin, Minister of Agriculture, acting
on the recommendation of the New Zealand Dairy Factory
Managers' Association, hereby appoint
James McKercher McDonald, Esquire,
being a member of the said association, to be a member of
the Dairy Factory Managers' Registration Board established
under the said regulations, vice Peter Christian Hvejsil
Petersen, Esquire, resigned. And I hereby name, pursuant to
clause 8 of the said regulations,
James McKercher McDonald, Esquire,
as Chairman of the Board.
