Additional Land at Mataroa taken for the Purposes of the North Island Main Trunk Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the North Island Main Trunk Railway to take further land at Mataroa in addition to land previously acquired for the purpose of the said railway :
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 1 rood 2·3 perches. Part of Suburban Section 15, Town of Mataroa, Block IX, Ohinewairua Survey District, Rangitikei County. (S.O. 3238.)
In the Wellington Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 4671, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of May, 1937.

Land taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block I, Ngakawau Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road ; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventh day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 1 rood 15 perches.
Being Section 19, Town of Ngakawau.
Situated in Block I, Ngakawau Survey District (Nelson R.D.). (S.O. 816r.)
In the Nelson Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 96018, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of May, 1937.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, as extended by section four of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1932, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby resume the land in Maketu Survey District described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of subsection ten of the said section twelve.

Defining the Middle-line of a Road in Blocks II and IV, Gorge Survey District—viz., Portion of the Woodville-Ashhurst Road.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a road desired to be constructed over Blocks II and IV, Gorge Survey District—viz., portion of the Woodville-Ashhurst Road—shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
COMMENCING at a point on the south-eastern boundary of part Section 2 of Subdivision X, Manchester Block (D.P. 239), Block II, Gorge Survey District, and proceeding thence in a westerly direction generally for a distance of approximately 1 mile 48 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c., viz., part Section 2 of Subdivision X, Manchester Block (D.P. 239), Block II ; Section 10, Block IV ; and other part Section 2 of Subdivision X, Manchester Block (D.P. 6632), Block II, Gorge Survey District, and terminating at a point on the left bank of the Pohangina River ; including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses : all in the Wellington Land District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 95840, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of May, 1937.
