IN LIQUIDATION.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of BURNERY’S GLASS COMPANY, LIMITED (in Liquidation).

NOTICE is hereby given that by an entry in its minute-book signed by all the shareholders of the company on the 7th day of May, 1937, the following resolution was duly passed :—

“Resolved that in conformity with the resolution passed by the meeting of creditors held at Accountants’ Chambers, Johnston Street, Wellington, on the 6th day of May, 1937, the company be wound up voluntarily, and that JAMES McINTOSH, Public Accountant, Wellington, be and he is hereby appointed liquidator for the purposes of winding up.”

MASTERTON BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by section 135 of the Public Works Act, 1928, the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other Acts and powers (if any) it in that behalf enabling, the Masterton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :—

“That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest and sinking fund and other charges on the Masterton Borough Council Ruamahunga River Bridge Construction Loan, £800, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-fiftieth of a penny in the pound (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Masterton, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable on the 1st days of June and December in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
