ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 18th day of
May, 1937.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
Pursuant to section sixty-three of the Native Purposes
Act, 1931, His Excellency the Governor-General,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council, doth hereby revoke the Order in Council referred to
in Part I of the Schedule hereto in so far as it affects the land
mentioned in Part II of the said Schedule.
SCHEDULE.
PART I.
Order in Council under section 32 of the Native Land
Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1928,
made on the 5th day of December, 1929, and published in
the New Zealand Gazette of the 12th day of December, 1929.
PART II.
Otaki 135A, B, and c Blocks : Area, 30.33 perches.

Revoking Order in Council of the 19th July, 1926, licensing
Messrs. J. Stopher and Sons to use and occupy a Part of
the Foreshore at Jock's Point, on the Wairoa River, Kaipara
Harbour, as a Site for a Wharf.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the nineteenth
day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-
six, and published in the Gazette of the twenty-second day
of the same month, at page 2160, Messrs. J. Stopher and Sons,
of Dargaville (hereinafter called "the licensees"), were
licensed to use and occupy a part of the foreshore at Jock's
Point, on the Wairoa River, Kaipara Harbour, as a site for
a wharf:
And whereas the licensees have applied to have the herein-
before-recited license revoked, and it is desirable to revoke
the same:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the power and authority conferred upon him by the Harbours
Act, 1923, and of all other powers and authorities enabling
him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth
hereby revoke the hereinbefore-recited Order in Council of
the nineteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and
twenty-six, as from the thirty-first day of March, one thousand
nine hundred and thirty-seven.

Revoking the Declaration of Main Highways and declaring
Public Highways to be Main Highways.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 18th day of
May, 1937.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in him by section three of the Main Highways
Act, 1922, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in
this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby declare that on and after the date of publication
of this Order in Council in the Gazette the portions of main
highways described in the First Schedule hereto shall cease
to be main highways, and doth further declare that the roads
described in the Second Schedule hereto shall be main high-
ways within the meaning and for the purposes of the Main
Highways Act, 1922.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
HIGHWAY DISTRICT No. 1.
Lake Omapere – Maungaturoto via Whangarei.—All that
portion of main highway in the Whangarei County declared
as portion of the Lake Omapere–Maungaturoto via Whangarei
Main Highway, commencing at a point adjacent to the North
Auckland Main Trunk Railway near the western boundary
of Allotment 3, Hikurangi Parish, Block V, Purua Survey
District, and proceeding thence generally in a north-westerly
direction along the western boundaries of Allotments 3 and 3A
and part Allotment 4, Hikurangi Parish, and terminating at
its junction with the railway reserve in the said part Allot-
ment 4, being a distance of 50 chains, more or less, such main
highway having been closed by Proclamation published in the
New Zealand Gazette No. 64 of 1st October, 1936, and more
particularly delineated on plan numbered P.W.D. 95273,
deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at
Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
HIGHWAY DISTRICT No. 2.
Auckland–Maungaturoto.—All that portion of main highway
in the Waitemata County declared as portion of the Auckland-
Maungaturoto Main Highway, commencing at a point near
the western boundary of Lot 146, Waiwera Parish, Block VII,
Waiwera Survey District, and proceeding thence generally
in a southerly direction along the western boundaries of
Lots 146, 147, 148, and 149, and along the northern and
western boundaries of Lot 150, and terminating at Grutt's
Bridge over the Nukumea Creek, being a distance of 35 chains,
more or less, and more particularly delineated on plan
numbered P.W.D. 94452, deposited in the office of the Main
Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
HIGHWAY DISTRICT No. 9.
Paraparaumu Beach Highway.—All that portion of the
Paraparaumu Beach Main Highway known as part of Beach
Road between its junction with MacLean Road and the
sea-coast, being a distance of 26 chains, more or less, and
more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 95274, deposited
in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and
thereon coloured orange.
HIGHWAY DISTRICT No. 16.
Alexandra–Clyde.—All that main highway in the Vincent
County declared as the Alexandra–Clyde Main Highway
described in the Order in Council dated 6th May, 1926, and
published in the Gazette of the 13th May, 1926.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
HIGHWAY DISTRICT No. 1.
Lake Omapere – Maungaturoto via Whangarei.—All that
road or portion of road in the Whangarei County, known
as McLeod's Deviation, commencing at a point on the Lake
Omapere—Maungaturoto via Whangarei Main Highway
adjacent to the North Auckland Main Trunk Railway near
the eastern boundary of part Allotment 1, Hikurangi Parish,
Block V, Purua Survey District, and proceeding thence
generally in a north-westerly direction along the eastern
boundaries of part Allotments 1 and S.E. 2, Hikurangi
Parish, and terminating at its junction with the Lake
Omapere – Maungaturoto via Whangarei Main Highway in
part Allotment S.E. 2, Hikurangi Parish, being a distance of
51 chains, more or less, and more particularly delineated on
plan numbered P.W.D. 95273, deposited in the office of the
Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured
green.
HIGHWAY DISTRICT No. 2.
Auckland–Maungaturoto.—All that road or portion of road
in the Waitemata County, known as Syke's Hill Deviation,
commencing at a point on the Auckland–Maungaturoto Main
Highway near the western boundary of Lot 146, Waiwera
Parish, Block VII, Waiwera Survey District, and proceeding
thence generally in a southerly direction through Lots 146,
147, 148, 149, and 150, and terminating at Grutt's Bridge
over the Nukumea Creek, being a distance of 35 chains, more
or less, and more particularly delineated on plan numbered
P.W.D. 94452, deposited in the office of the Main Highways
Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
