A PROCLAMATION.
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the portion of street described in the Schedule hereto is hereby closed for defence purposes; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the tenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven.

SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of street hereby closed: 1 rood.
Being portion of Wharf Street adjoining or passing through part Lot 59 in Proclamation 7321, Allotments 44, 45, parts Allotment 33 of Section 2, Parish of Takapuna, and portion of land in Certificate of Title, Volume 511, folio 7, being land reclaimed from Waitemata Harbour.
Situated in the Borough of Devonport, Block VI, Rangitoto Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 28803.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 95583, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day of April, 1937.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the portions of road in Uawa Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

Crown Land set apart as a Provisional State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.
B Y virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a provisional State forest.

SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—ROTORUA FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District containing by admeasurement 283 acres, more or less, and being Section 4, Block IV, Rotoiti Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 38/43, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day of April, 1937.

Road traversing Native Land proclaimed as a Public Road in Block I, Upper Waitara Survey District, Taranaki Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
W HEREAS the road described in the Schedule hereto traverses Native land and has been used by the public as a public road and has been formed and improved out of public funds:
And whereas the Native Land Court by an order made on the twenty-second day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five, and issued pursuant to section four hundred and eighty-four of the Native Land Act, 1931, ordered and declared the said road to be a public road:
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands in terms of section four hundred and eighty-six of the Native Land Act, 1931:
And whereas it is now expedient that the said road should be proclaimed as a public road:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section four hundred and eighty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road described in the Schedule hereto.

Being portion of Mimi No. 4f Block.
Situated in Block I, Upper Waitara Survey District. (S.O. plan 7342.)
In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/2425, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2791, and thereon coloured pink.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of May, 1937.
