Proclaiming Native Land to have become Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
PURSUANT to section four hundred and fifty-four of the Native Land Act, 1931, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, being satisfied that the purchase of the Native land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the said Act, do hereby proclaim that the said land has become Crown land.
SCHEDULE.
MOANAKAPITI-HUHURAUMATI D 4c Block: Area, 1 rood 2 perches. Block XVI, Waihou Survey District.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of January, 1937.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of December, 1936.

Additional Land at Ohinewai taken for the Purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway to take further land at Ohinewai in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway: And whereas it is desirable to take only the surface of such land for the purposes herein specified, together with a portion of the subsoil thereof;
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-one, thirty-four, and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the surface of the land mentioned in the First Schedule hereto, together with that part of the subsoil of such land below the formation levels of the said railway shown on the plan marked L.O. 4456, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, as is described in the Second Schedule hereto, is hereby taken for the purposes aforesaid.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
PIECE OF LAND OF WHICH SURFACE IS TAKEN.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 2 roods 12Β·8 perches. Portion of Lot 3, D.P. 8993, part of Allotment 43, Parish of Taupiri, Block VII, Rangiriri Survey District, Waikato County. (S.O. 28822, blue.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 4456, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
SUBSOIL TAKEN.
As to the area mentioned in the First Schedule: All the subsoil down to a plane 100 ft. below and approximately parallel to the said line of formation levels, such plane being horizontal transversely to the said line of formation levels.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of January, 1937.
