NOTICE is hereby given that the Public Trustee has filed in the Supreme Court an election to administer in respect of the several estates of the persons deceased whose names, residences, and occupations (so far as known) are hereunder set forth :—

Fixing the Rates of Distribution Allowances for the Purposes of the Butter (Wellington District) Marketing Regulations, 1937.
The Primary Products Marketing Department (Internal Marketing Branch),
Wellington, 29th April, 1937.
PURSUANT to clause 15 of the Butter (Wellington District) Marketing Regulations, 1937, the Primary Products Marketing Department hereby fixes—
(a) The sum of one halfpenny per pound or portion thereof as the rate of the distribution allowances which may respectively be allowed to—
(i) A manufacturer or a wholesale distributor in respect of the sale by wholesale by the manufacturer or the wholesale distributor of butter within the Wellington Marketing District in pursuance of the said regulations;
(ii) The said department in respect of the sale by wholesale of butter within the Wellington City area otherwise than through a wholesale distributor; and
(b) The sum of one-eighth of a penny per pound or portion thereof as the amount which may be allowed to the said department in respect of the receiving, storing, and delivering of all butter delivered to the said department for sale for consumption within the Wellington City area as defined by the said regulations.
This notice takes effect on and after the 1st May, 1937.

Fixing the Maximum Period of Credit upon Sales of Butter for the Purposes of the Butter (Wellington District) Marketing Regulations, 1937.
The Primary Products Marketing Department (Internal Marketing Branch),
Wellington, 29th April, 1937.
PURSUANT to clause 17 of the Butter (Wellington District) Marketing Regulations, 1937, the Primary Products Marketing Department hereby fixes the period of credit which a manufacturer or a wholesale distributor shall allow upon any sale of butter to a retailer carrying on business within the Wellington Marketing District as follows :—
(a) If sold on or before the 15th day in any month the period of credit shall not extend beyond the 20th day of that month; or
(b) If sold on or before the last day in any month but after the 15th day of that month the period of credit shall not extend beyond the 7th day of the next succeeding month.
This notice takes effect on and after the 1st May, 1937.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section will be offered for sale for cash or on deferred payments by public auction at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Government Buildings, Auckland, at 2.30 o'clock p.m. on Tuesday, 8th June, 1937, under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—TOWN LAND.
Hokianga County.—Town of Kokukohu Extension.
SECTION 9 : Area, 7·83 perches. Upset price, £250. An ideal business site situated in the main street of Kohukohu adjoining the Bank of New South Wales and one minute from post-office. It consists of reclaimed land, level, with a stone wall on the sea frontage.

Lands in North Auckland Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease.
North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office,
Auckland, 28th April, 1937.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned sections are open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, up to 4 o'clock p.m. on Monday, 17th May, 1937.
Applicants should appear personally for examination at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Wednesday, 19th May, 1937, at 10.30 o'clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.
Applicants are required to produce for inspection when examined documentary evidence of their financial position, such as bank pass-books, certificates or letters of credit from managers of banks, financial institutions, or mercantile firms, or from private persons or parents undertaking to give financial assistance. Persons undertaking to assist financially should state to what extent they are prepared to do so and supply guarantees of their own financial position.
The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants, and the successful applicant is required to pay immediately on conclusion of ballot a deposit comprising the first half-year’s rent, broken-period rent, lease fee, and, in the case of Section 8, Block XI, Mangonui Survey District, the amount of the improvement loading.
