Appointment of Issuing Officer for the Purpose of issuing Licenses to take or kill Imported Game and Native Game in the Rotorua Acclimatization District.
Pursuant to the provisions of Condition No. 3 included under the heading “Rotorua Acclimatization District” in the Warrant dated the 16th day of March, 1937, made under the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921–22, and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 17 of the 23rd March, 1937, at page 630, et seq., declaring open seasons for the taking or killing of imported game and/or native game in the acclimatization districts specified in such Warrant, I, Joseph William Allen Heenan, Under-Secretary of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
The Postmaster, Edgecumbe,
to be an issuing officer for the purpose of issuing licenses to take or kill imported game and native game in the Rotorua Acclimatization District under and subject to the general conditions set forth in the said Warrant and the special conditions set forth under the heading “Rotorua Acclimatization District.”

Pursuant to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, notice is hereby given that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Outram Town District taken on the 14th day of April, 1937, on the proposal of the Outram Town Board to borrow the sum of five hundred and fifty pounds for the purpose of purchasing the Oddfellows’ Hall, Outram, for a Town Hall and office—

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

Notice of Intention to take Land for Housing Purposes in the City of Invercargill.
Notice is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, and section 32 of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1936, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for housing purposes:
And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the office of the Resident Engineer of the Public Works Department at Invercargill, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.
