Setting aside Native Land as a Native Reservation.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 23rd day of April, 1937.
Present:
THE HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
PURSUANT to section two hundred and ninety-eight of the Native Land Act, 1931, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby set apart and reserve the Native freehold land described in Part I of the Schedule hereto for the common use of the owners thereof as a burial-ground, and doth vest the said land in the persons whose names are set forth in Part II of the said Schedule on trust to hold and administer the same for the benefit of the beneficial owners thereof in accordance with the regulations for the time being governing the same.
SCHEDULE.
PART I.
ALL that the parcel of land situate in the South Island Native Land Court District called or known as Purakaunui Subdivision 69 of Section 50, Block IV, North Harbour and Blueskin District, containing 1 acre 1 rood, more or less.

The Western Side of Portion of Russell Street, in the City of Nelson, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Nelson City Council on the eleventh day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, viz. :—
“ The Nelson City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets of the City of Nelson, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the western side of Russell Street on the eastern side of part Section 106, City of Nelson, marked A–B, and coloured red on plan ” ;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the western side of the portion of Russell Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.
SCHEDULE.
THE western side of all that portion of street, situated in the Nelson Land District, City of Nelson, known as Russell Street, fronting part Section 106, City of Nelson. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 95530, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Vesting the Control of Plantation Reserves and Drainage Reserves in the Makara County Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 23rd day of April, 1937.
Present:
THE HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the lands described in the First Schedule hereto are plantation reserves: And whereas the lands described in the Second Schedule hereto are drainage reserves: And whereas it is expedient that the control of the said reserves should be vested in the Makara County Council :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby vest the control of the said reserves in the Makara County Council subject to the condition hereinafter contained, that is to say—the Makara County Council shall have the right, during the pleasure of the Minister of Lands, to use the said lands for access purposes.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
Lot 6, D.P. 6944, area, 13·2 perches, and Lot 19, D.P. 6944, area, 9·96 perches, situate in the Town of Titahi Extension No. 4, and being part Section 110, Porirua District, Block XI, Paekakariki Survey District.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
Lot 13, D.P. 6944, area, 11·1 perches, and Lot 24, D.P. 6944, area, 30·3 perches, situate in the Town of Titahi Extension No. 4, and being part Section 110, Porirua District, Block XI, Paekakariki Survey District.

Vesting a Reserve in the Timaru Borough Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 23rd day of April, 1937.
Present:
THE HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for aerodrome purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Timaru :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Timaru, in trust, as a reserve for aerodrome purposes.
SCHEDULE.
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 3 acres 1 rood 36 perches, more or less, and being part of Reserve 1858, situated in Block II of the Patiti Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the west and north-west generally by Lots 108 and 76, Deposit Plan 4075, the abutment of a road, and Lots 67, 61, and 62, Deposit Plan 4075 aforesaid, 265·39, 200, 263·52, and 559 links; towards the north by Lagoon Street, 275·8 links; and again towards the south-east by a public road, 1212·76 links. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/11/81B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
