NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933,
the Counties Act, 1920, and the Public Works Act, 1928.
N OTICE is hereby given that the Gisborne Borough
Council and the Cook and Waikohu County Councils
propose under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts to
execute a certain public work--namely, the extension of
Darton Field Aerodrome--and for the purpose of the said
public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are
required to be taken : And notice is hereby further given
that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in
the public office of the Town Clerk, Gisborne Borough Council,
Read's Quay, and in the public office of the Clerk of the Cook
County Council, Childers Road, Gisborne, and is open for
inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office
hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public
work or the taking of such lands who have any well-grounded
objections to the execution of the said public work or the
taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing
and send the same within forty days from the first publication
of this notice to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers,
Read's Quay.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter
of GAMBLE AND CREED, LIMITED (in Voluntary Liquid-
ation).
N OTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the members
of the company held at 3 p.m. on the 7th April, 1937,
the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed :-
" That the company resolve as an extraordinary resolution
that it cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business
and that it is advisable to wind up and that the company
be wound up voluntarily."
And that on the same date a meeting of creditors called
pursuant to section 234 of the Companies Act, 1933, the
following resolution was passed pursuant to section 235 :-
" That Mr. C. D. MORPETH be appointed liquidator for the
purpose of winding up the affairs of the company and distrib-
uting its assets."

of GAMBLE AND CREED, LIMITED (in Voluntary Liquid-
ation).
N OTICE is hereby given to the creditors of the above-
named company that the liquidator does hereby fix
the 30th day of April, 1937, as the day on or before which
the creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims
and to establish any title they may have to priority under
section 258 of the Act, or to be excluded from the benefit
of any distribution made before such debts are proved, or,
as the case may be, from objecting to such distribution.

called the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City
of Auckland proposes under the provisions of the Public
Works Act, 1928, and the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933,
to execute a certain public work--namely, the making of a
new street within the City of Auckland--and for the purpose
of such work the piece of land described in the Schedule
hereto is required to be taken : And notice is hereby further
given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited
in the public office of the Town Clerk, Queen Street, Auckland,
and is open for public inspection, and may be inspected there
without fee during office hours : All persons affected by the
execution of the said work or by the taking of such land who
have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said
public work or the taking of the said land must state their
objections in writing and send the same within forty days
from the 12th day of April, 1937, being the date of the first
publication of this notice, to the Auckland City Council,
Town Hall, Queen Street, Auckland.

perches.
Being part of Allotments 18, 19, and 20 of Section 54 of
the City of Auckland, known as Somerset Place, and shown
coloured neutral on plan lodged in the Survey Office at Auck-
land under No. 28933.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
N OTICE is hereby given that the partnership heretofore
subsisting between us the undersigned ANDREW JAMES
CUMMING and LILLIAN ROSE MARTIN, carrying on business as
Ladies' Hairdressers at 11 Riddiford Street, Wellington, S. l,
and at Oxford Street, Levin, under the style or firm name
of " Martin's Beauty Salon," has been dissolved by mutual
consent as from the 29th day of March, 1937. The business
will in future be carried on by Lillian Rose Martin alone
under the name of " Martin Beauty Salon."

Averill, Solicitors, Queen Street, Hastings, on Tuesday, the
20th day of April, 1937, at 2.30 o'clock in the afternoon, at
which meeting a full statement of the position of the company's affairs, together with list of creditors and the estimated
amounts of their claims, will be laid before the meeting,
and the creditors may confirm the appointment of liquidator
made by the company, or may, pursuant to section 235 of
the said Act, nominate some other person to be liquidator,
and generally pass such resolutions as may be considered
advisable.
