Election of Member of Gisborne Land Board.

I, HENRY LOFTUS PRIMROSE, Returning Officer for the election of a member of the Gisborne Land Board, do hereby notify in accordance with the provisions of section 47 of the Land Act, 1924, and the regulations made thereunder, that the only person nominated to fill the vacancy occurring on the said Board was

George Oswald Donovan, of Motu.

I do therefore declare that the said George Oswald Donovan is duly elected a member of the Gisborne Land Board for a term of two years as from the 28th day of May, 1937.

IN accordance with the provisions of the Education Act, 1914, it is hereby notified that for the election of a member to fill an extraordinary vacancy in the Napier Urban Area caused by the resignation of Mr. R. C. Wright, the result of the poll held on the 17th day of March, 1937, was as follows :—
