And whereas the authority conferred by the said Order
in Council has not yet been exercised, and it is expedient to
vary the determinations in respect of the said loan by
prescribing a term of ten (10) years in lieu of a term of twenty
(20) years as prescribed by the said Order in Council :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred on him by section eleven of the Local Government
Loans Board Act, 1926, as set out in section twenty-nine
of the Finance Act, 1932 (No. 2), and of all other powers and
authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby vary the
determinations aforesaid in respect of the said loan by
prescribing that the term for which the said loan may be
raised shall be ten (10) years.

Rates.

March, 1937.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
PURSUANT to section sixty-three of the Native Pur-
poses Act, 1931, His Excellency the Governor-General,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council, doth hereby revoke the Order in Council referred
to in Part I of the Schedule hereto in so far as it affects the
land mentioned in Part II of the said Schedule.
SCHEDULE.
PART I.
ORDER in Council under section thirty-two of the Native
Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act,
1928, made on the 5th day of December, 1929, and published
in the New Zealand Gazette of the 12th day of December,
1929.
PART II.
WHAKARANGIRANGI 29N 3 Block: Area, 1 acre 0 roods

The Western and North-western Sides of Portions of Waihakeke
Road, in the County of Wairarapa South, exempted from
the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928,
subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 31st day of
March, 1937.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the
Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in any-
wise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution
passed by the Wairarapa South County Council on the
fifteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and
thirty-six, viz. :
"The Wairarapa South County Council, being the local
authority having control of the roads in the County of
Wairarapa South, by resolution declares that the provisions
of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public
Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to that portion of the road
known as Waihakeke Road adjoining part Section 275,
Taratahi Plain Block, being all the land in Certificate of
Title, Volume 402, folio 15, owned by John Henry Peters ";
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building
shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the western
and north-western sides of the portions of Waihakeke Road
(described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-
three feet from the centre-lines of the said portions of road.
SCHEDULE.
THE western and north-western sides of all those portions of
Waihakeke Road, situated in the Wellington Land District,
County of Wairarapa South, fronting part Section 275;
Taratahi Plain Block, Block XIV, Tiffin Survey District.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 95369, deposited in the office of the Minister
of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

the City of Christchurch, exempted from the Provisions of
Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the
Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in any-
wise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution
passed by the Christchurch City Council on the first day of
March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, viz. :
"The Christchurch City Council, being the local authority
having control of the streets in the City of Christchurch,
hereby by resolution declares that the provisions of section
one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act,
1928, shall not apply to that portion of the southerly
side of Ombersley Terrace adjoining the land in Certificate
of Title 206/272 ";
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building
shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the south-
eastern side of the portion of Ombersley Terrace (described
in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of forty-three feet
from the centre-line of the said portion of street.
SCHEDULE.
THE south-eastern side of all that portion of street, situated
in the Canterbury Land District, City of Christchurch, known
as Ombersley Terrace, fronting part Rural Section 38. As
the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
P.W.D. 95314, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public
Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street (Lairg Street Extension)
in the City of Dunedin of a Width less than 66 ft., but not
less than 40 ft., subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 31st day of
March, 1937.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by
the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, the Public
Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise
enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Dunedin City
Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street,
described in the Schedule hereto, of a width less than sixty-six
feet, but not less than forty feet, subject to the condition
that no building or part of a building shall at any time be
erected on the land fronting the western side of the said street
within a distance of thirty-five feet from the centre-line of the
said street.
