BULLER COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the
Buller County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £700 authorized to be raised by the
Buller County Council under the above-mentioned Act for
the construction of a doctor’s residence at Karamea, the
said Buller County Council hereby makes and levies a special
rate of 3½d. of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value
of all rateable property in the Buller County comprising the
whole of the Buller County, and that such rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and
shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each
and every year during the currency of such loan, being a
period of 20 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The above resolution making a special rate was passed at
a special meeting of the Buller County Council held on
Wednesday, 17th March, 1937.

the Court sitting at Auckland on the 30th day of April,
1937, at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon; and that any creditor
or contributory of the said company desirous to support
or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may
appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel
for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished
to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring
the same by the undersigned on payment of the regulated
charge for the same.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the shareholders held on the 22nd March, 1937, the following
special resolutions were passed:—

“ That it is desirable to reconstruct the company and
accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily.”
“ That WILLIAM KEMP FOWLER, of Papatoetoe, Company
Secretary, be and he is hereby appointed liquidator for the
purpose of such winding up.”

A new company under the title “Auto Machine Manufacturing Company, Limited,” will immediately take over
the assets and liabilities of this company.

There will be no break in the continuity of operations as
between the new company and the old.

Notice under the Public Works Act, 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Education Board of
the District of Auckland intends to take under the
provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of a public school the following
land, namely:—

All that piece of land situated in the Provincial District
of Auckland containing by admeasurement 7 acres 1 rood
26·1 perches, more or less, situated in the Borough of
Onehunga, being part of Allotments 1 and 32 of Section 38 of
the Village of Onehunga, and all the land comprised and
described in Certificate of Title, Volume 502, folio 292.

A plan of the land is deposited in the post-office at Onehunga
and is there open for inspection by all persons at all reasonable
hours.

All persons affected are hereby required and called upon
to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the
taking of such land and to send such writing within forty
days from the first publication of this notice to the Education
Board of the District of Auckland at its office in Wellesley
Street, Auckland.
