Land taken for the Purposes of a Street and in connection with
Street Purposes, between Palliser Road and Shannon Street,
in the City of Wellington.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in
this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the First
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a street,
that the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is
hereby taken in connection with street purposes, and that the
said parcels of land shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and
Citizens of the City of Wellington as from the date hereinafter
mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall
take effect on and after the twelfth day of April, one
thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken for the purposes
of a street:-

0 0 0·27 Lot 3, D.P. 5298; coloured yellow.
0 0 2·03 Lot 3, D.P. 9578 ; coloured violet.
0 0 8·34 Lot 19, D.P. 123 ; coloured yellow.
0 0 3·14 Lot 20, D.P. 123 ; coloured blue.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken in connection
with street purposes :-

0 0 0·1 f sepia.
All being portions of Section 405, Town of Wellington,
situated in the City of Wellington. (S.O. 3127.)
All in the Wellington Land District ; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 94486,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 31st day of
March, 1937.

deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
