Notice of Proposed Cancellation of Registration.

NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to and in exercise of the powers in this behalf conferred upon me by section 23 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925, the registration of the Ngahauranga Freezing-workers’ Industrial Union of Workers, registered number 1401, situated at Wellington, will, unless cause to the contrary is shown, be cancelled at the expiration of six weeks from the date hereof.

NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to an application in that behalf made to me by the Timaru Painters’ Industrial Union of Employers, registered number 757, situated at Timaru, and in exercise of the powers in this behalf conferred upon me by section 22 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925, it is my intention to cancel the registration of that industrial union after the expiration of six weeks from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette unless in the meantime cause is shown to the contrary.

Notice to Persons affected by Application for License under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

I HEREBY give notice that applications have been received for licenses to transfer pharmacy businesses as follows: (a) From 51 Customs Street East, Auckland, to Dilworth Buildings, Customs Street East, Auckland; and (b) from Maniapoto Street, Otorohanga, to a new site in the same street.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau in respect of either of these applications, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing to the undersigned prior to the 15th April, 1937.

I HEREBY give notice that an application has been received for a license to move two pumps at the premises of the Empire Garage and Engineering Company, at Beach Road, Kohukohu Town Board Area, to a proposed new site on the same road.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau in respect of this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must make such representations in writing to the undersigned before the 8th April, 1937.

Election of Member of North Auckland Land Board.

North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office,
Auckland, 15th March, 1937.

I, WILLIAM DAVID ARMIT, Returning Officer for the election of a member of the North Auckland Land Board, do hereby notify, in accordance with the provisions of section 47 of the Land Act, 1924, and the regulations made thereunder, that the only person nominated within the prescribed time to fill the vacancy occurring on the said Board was

Vivian Trounson, of Maropiu.

And I do therefore hereby declare that the said Vivian Trounson is duly elected a member of the North Auckland Land Board for a term of two years as from the 26th day of April, 1937.
