Change of Name of “Waari Hamlet” to “Sunnyvale,” County of Waitemata.
[L.S.] GALWAY, Governor-General.
A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it is considered expedient that the name of the locality known as “Waari Hamlet,” in the County of Waitemata, should be changed to “Sunnyvale”:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by the Designation of Districts Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the name of the locality known as “Waari Hamlet,” in the County of Waitemata, shall be and the same is hereby altered to “Sunnyvale,” and do assign the last-mentioned name to such locality accordingly; and also do hereby proclaim and declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on the first day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, not being earlier than six months after the first publication thereof in the Gazette.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of November, 1936.

Lands reserved under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908.
[L.S.] GALWAY, Governor-General.
A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), has recommended that the lands described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be scenic reserves under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.

SCHEDULE.
MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing 4 acres 0 roods 33·4 perches, more or less, being part of Section 73, Upper Pelorus Valley, situated in Block VIII, Heringa Survey District, and being also the road closed by Proclamation in New Zealand Gazette of the 27th day of February, 1936, on page 333. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4/354n, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Also all that area containing by admeasurement 86 acres 2 roods 8 perches, more or less, being Lots 1 to 7 of Section 73, Upper Pelorus Valley District, situated in Block VIII, Heringa Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 9/306, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (L. and S. 4/354.)
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.
Section 27, Block VI, Woodland Survey District: Area, 202 acres 3 roods 39 perches, more or less. (L. and S. 10/100/7.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of March, 1937.

Proclaiming a Road-line laid out through Kaitao Rotokahoka Block, Auckland Land District, to be a Public Road.
[L.S.] GALWAY, Governor-General.
A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was, by an order of the Native Land Court made on the ninth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, duly laid out as a road-line in pursuance of section one hundred and seventeen of the Native Land Act, 1909:
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands in terms of section four hundred and eighty-six of the Native Land Act, 1931:
And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in terms of subsection two of section four hundred and eighty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931:
And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section four hundred and eighty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line described in the Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 62 acres 1 rood 37 perches.
Being portion of Kaitao Rotokahoka Block.
Situated in Blocks IV, VII, and VIII, Horohoro Survey District. (S.O. plan 15704.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/662A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2789, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of March, 1937.
