Allocating to the Purposes of a Road Land in Blocks V, VI, and IX, Hinds Survey District, and Blocks VII and VIII, Rangitata Survey District, reserved for a Railway.

[L.S.] GALWAY, Governor-General. A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was reserved for railway purposes, and is not now required for such purposes) shall, upon publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become road, and that such road shall be maintained by the Ashburton County Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 92749, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of March, 1937.

Adding an Outer Area to the Otago Central Electric-power District.

[L.S.] GALWAY, Governor-General. A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section three of the Electric-power Boards Amendment Act, 1927, and of every other power in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the area described in the Schedule hereto, being part of the outer area of the Lake Wakatipu Electric-power District, shall as from the nineteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, be an outer area of the Otago Central Electric-power District.

SCHEDULE. All that area in the Lake County comprising Blocks I, III, XIV, XIX, XVI, XIII, and XV, Lower Wanaka Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 95320, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of March, 1937.

[L.S.] GALWAY, Governor-General. A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921-22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.

SCHEDULE. AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—AUCKLAND FOREST- CONSERVATION REGION.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 412 acres 3 roods 32 perches, more or less, and being Section 2, Block XII, Hastings Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 22/13, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Auckland plan 14896.) Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of March, 1937.
